Mission 9: The Evolution's Flight

[Taurik]

A communication comes in over the audio systems. "Taurik to Rivendell. You are now noticing a dramatic loss in power to all major systems. Without such power, continued pursuit of the Evolution will be impossible. You will also find that I have been incapacitated while onboard the Evolution. My rescue will also be inachievable. I assume you understand, and will relay this information to Admiral Vorak?"

[Morgan Freeman]

"Captain Taurik, as a fellow Vulcan I find your actions in this situation with Captain Sanchez, illogical and irration.

I am disappointed in such a degradation in a fellow Vulcan and with such diplorable behaviour.

I once respected you as a Commanding Officer and as a Vulcan, but these actions you have performed are intolerable in a Commanding officer and it is my hope that you get the proper rehabilitation so as you might one day rejoin Starfleet and perhaps once again have a Command."

Baphomet had said all this with the obvious stoic and emotionless stance of a true Vulcan.

She then turned and left for the Bridge...

[Zaphan]

Zaphan looked at the female Vulcan, a little taken a back.

"Ah, no I'm not lost, I was just...eh...bored and was wanting to explore this fine vessel.
Sorry if I'm intruding or something, but at the moment I don't know what else to do."

Zaphan looked at the conn...

"Need a realy great pilot?"

[Baphomet]

"Aye Commander."

Baphomet follows the Commanders orders in synchronous order.

"Commander, Transporter rooms 1, 2 and 3 are on standby and I have also tied in the Transporters of Cargo bays 1 through to 4 in to Energizing command buffer.
Sensors indicate a complete lock on all the crew and I have established a subspace link with the Evolutions main computer core.
Channel is now open to the USS Evolution, sir."

[Morgan Freeman]

Morgan stands from the engineering station and walks towards the captain.

"Sir, I must agree with Baphomet.  At leaset wear a tracking device so that we can beam you out before they can raise there shields."

[Dyien]

"At the moment, I do not need much help. Your officers on the ground need more help. Forwarned that there may be a few Anti-Aircraft weapons still operationally down there."

A few minutes pass and an ship decloakes while in geo-syn orbit. It was nearly the size of the a Federation Defiant escort but looked to have minor hull damaged by sensors.

[Morgan Freeman]

"I agree with Commander Baphomet.  If they show any sign of not cooperating, which they will, we should be ready to disable the ship."

[Baphomet]

""Commander Freeman, we are 2 hours from the boarder of Loxian Space."

[Vorak]

=^= Avalon Station to Rivendell =^=
This is Flag Admiral Vorak speaking. Captain Sanchez has just departed Avalon Station with the Evolution, and gone to warp on its way to the planet Loxius. This was done without any authorisation, however, as the ship was permanently decommissioned, and therefore his actions are illegal. Leave the docking bay immediately and begin pursuit of the Evolution. Once you have managed to reach them, bring them to a halt before they reach Loxius, and make sure to bring Mr. Sanchez and any other crewmembers aboard the ship back to the station immediately.

[Blaze]

*A small ship leaves the planet surface and heads for the Rivendell, a channel opens from the small ship*

=^= "Blaze to Rivendell, I request permission to dock, I have something from Zaphans ship, and 2 children from the Loxian prison compound that Ardeth and I assaulted." =^=

[Taurik]

"I can give you my word that neither of us will be leaving the ship until it is asked of us."

[Richard Ransom]

*turns to Captian Taurik*


Captian, Before you head off I can give you a Squadren of Fighters under your Command in case you will need it this Fighters could use this to run interfeerence to help you catch up with the Evolution. also I do offer my Services in any Station you need an Officer.

[Taurik]

Before Baphomet left, Taurik added a single sentiment. "I respect your opinion, Commander. However, there is something I have learned in my time in Starfleet, and that is that, while logic is indeed a noble thing to aspire to, loyalty is just as noble, and I stand by my decisions. If Starfleet deems me unworthy to wear this uniform, I will surrender my commission without conflict."

[Morgan Freeman]

Freeman walks into the Brig just in time to hear the Captains words to Baphomet.  He walks over and stands in front of the holding cell.

"Captain, I am just holding you here under orders of starfleet command. If we were not loyal to you we would not have come with you."
