Baphomet felt a ripple in the Ether...
~Commander, call the Doctor and send him to the Captain, he has lost consciousness and will need assistance...NOW.~

[Taurik]

Taurik is stunned to hear that his former first officer was arriving aboard the ship again.

"Granted, Commander."

Once the runabout had docked, a security officer escorts Commander Travis to the Captain's ready room, where Travis hands Taurik a PADD. It read:

To: Captain Taurik, U.S.S. Rivendell From: Director Sloan, Starfleet Intelligence Re: Commander William Travis Captain Taurik, I hope this message finds you and your crew doing well. Commander William Travis was recently transferred off of your ship discreetly, under orders of Starfleet Intelligence. I have no doubt you have already found a replacement for him. Mr. Travis was recruited by Intelligence to do some undercover work regarding the Dominion. Unfortunately, the details are classified, so that's all I can tell you. However, he has finished said operations and is to be returned to active duty at once. I understand this will cause problems in your ship's chain of command, but I have faith that you will figure something out.

Taurik sets the PADD on his desk after reading it thoroughly.

"I see. Welcome back, Commander."

[Kassie]

*Kassie is on the biobed mentally beating herself up over how she acted when the ship was attacking itself.......then the memory of those confine space comes into her mind and sends a shiver down her spine at the very thought of that situation*

[William Travis]

"If we can get a transmition out Captain i would suggest contacting Starfleet for assistance."

[Taurik]

"Yes, that would be prudent."

Taurik walks back to the bridge and presses a button on the arm of his chair.

"Evolution, this is Rivendell. We are ready to proceed at your discretion."

[Baphomet]

Baphomet took this time to request a trip to Vulcan.

~Although it has been enjoyable sharing your mind Commander, I would prefer to be back in my own body, so I would be gratified if we could sojourn to Vulcan for the Fal-Tor-Pan Ritual please.~

OOC: I think that's it, I haven't seen that Katra-Body ritual name in a long time.

[Taurik]

Taurik suddenly sits up and gets off the biobed. He walks out of Sickbay, and enters Main Engineering. He steps over the guard rail to te warp core, to the surprise of everyone there, and touches the inactive warp core. It flares to life, and the Rivendell jumps to high warp.

(OFF: I'm speeding things up.)

--Several hours later--

The ship drops out of warp near Starbase Avalon, and a once-again-exhausted Taurik climbs over the rails and leaves the engine room.

[Taurik]

"The structual integrity is likely too weak to withstand a trip through the null-space catapult. A safer course of action would be to proceed at maximum warp, where the damage is less intense."

[Richard Ransom]

Coming over to Ensign Kassie once I got Commander Freeman onto the bio bed.

Yes I think you should take into account that you a Vulcan not a Klingon Ms Kassie. If you try to continue to at such igh standards I could do some irrepairable damage and then where will you be.

While he was taken to sickbay he heard Freemans message and let out a sigh of relief. The next thing his mind went to was how long his risky method would land him on a medical cot.

Working away as I was on Commander Baphomet the computer started to do something wierd.

"The sheilds should withstand fire from Borg weapons, thier sheild cutting beams will cause heavy damage though, sir. Each beam would lower our sheild power by 10%, I can continue to divert power to compensate sir".
