Mission 6: Revenge of the Na'jigat

[Taurik]

"We don't have time. The Borg will arrive in eight hours, and Deep Space Twelve needs all the reinforcement possible."

(OFF: Time to speed it up...)

--- Two hours later ---

A helmsman turned and spoke up. "Captain, we've arrived at Deep Space Twelve."

"Good," Taurik replied. "Take up a defensive posture around the station. Ensign Matthews, run a Level 3 diagnostic on the weapons systems before the Borg arrive, to optimize our damage potential."

[Taurik]

Taurik focused all of his attention toward the phaser inducer coil in front of him. He channeled all of his energy into it, and it began to pain him. A second white beam shot from the phaser array, and Taurik maintained it with all of his will. The Na'jigat began to slink away from the beam, and then a similar beam shot from the Evolution. The Na'jigat, losing energy quickly, then began to retreat back to the Quantum Singularity Net, where they could recuperate from the devastating psionic assault.

Taurik released his connection to the phaser array, and collapsed on the floor of Phaser Control.

OOC:  I am to and now you get a little background on Freemans life.

On:  ~Baphomet, I know it must be hard for you and I am sorry you got stuck with me.  Do not be ashamed of what you did.  You saved all of us.  Perhaps when we get you back where you belong we can...

The beach starts to change all of the sudden and baphomet is sitting in a conference room of a starfleet facilty.   Freeman is no where around and neither is anyone else.~


In sickbay Freeman's nurilogial activiaties start to plumit.


~ After looking around the room Baphomet discoveres that she is in a Starfleet Corps of Engineers construction base.  On the viewscreen their is a scematic for a craft labeled: Scorpian Mark 1 Anti Borg Assault Fighter.  

After studing the schematic for a minute 12 engineers enter the room and all sit down.  Freeman arrives in the room a moment later and stands in front of the room.  They begin to talk about the Scorpian and what it will take to get the craft operational.  The only interesting part for Baphomet is a piece of technology called "ABTA," armour to counteract the borg.  

As they where talking a Red alert Coxin went off.

We have received a message from Starfleet Command.  The task force in the typhon sector is unsuccessful and are retreating to bata position.   They say at all cost do not launch the Scorpian.

[Taurik]

"You underestimate us, Representative. Lieutenant, lock phasers and load quantum torpedoes. Fire on my command."

[Taurik]

"Divert all shield power to the foreward emitters. Helm, take up a superior position and hold there. Tactical, fire all weapons at your discretion."

[William Travis]

Travis stood as the Captain left the bridge.

"Helm, set course for the cloud give me a pulse of full impulse to give us a jump, Then shut all power off Ensign Mattews, we'll get only one chance. Once its off the second its back on we'll meet the fate of the borg."

[William Travis]

"Permission granted Commander, Ensign Matthews you have tactical."

=A="Bridge to Sickbay, what is Commander Freemans condition. I need him asap so we can regain warp power."=A=

He then turns to Matthews one of the few on the bridge.

"Try to contact Avalon Station, inform them we may need assistance to tow. Inform them we have injured."

[Kassie]

*as kassie worked at helm the console exploded and forced Kassie to back onto the ground........with Some minor Burns and some minor cuts on her face she gets back up to helm......*

[Ferando ONeil]

Very well ensign come over to the biobedand let me get a good look.

Twenty minutes later treatment is complete.

you may continue on your way ensign. Oh how is you other little problem going at the moment.

[Morgan Freeman]

Freeman arrives on the bridge and take the engineering station.  
"Captain shields are only at 68%"

[Solark Baklavar]

Yes. Captain. Tractor beam is now locked on the Kahless. We are ready for transport at any time. I am locking ship coordinates to remain on warp 2 for the duration until you give further commands. The two ships are locked and ready to go. Captain. At your command. I am stabilizing the beam right now. It should be ready now.

[Will Matthews]

Matthews smiles at the reply. "More of a cadets goal, Thank you, Captain". He attatched the rank insignia and put his cadet markings into the box. "I will take place at Tactical Sir"

[Morgan Freeman]

As the doctor is talking to Ensign Matthews Freeman enters sickbay staggering.  

"DDDOOOOCCCTTOOORRRR..   Somethings WWWWRRRRRROOOO....."  

Freeman falls to the floor unconsious.  

In his mind wakes up at the Utopia Plantia base. Although this time it is in shambles, panels down everywhere, red alert blaring.  Through the smoke Freeman see's Baphomet, walking toward him wearing a white dress.

~What's happening?  This place was never like this. What is going on with me, The pain in my head just got so intense I thought my head would explode.~

[Taurik]

A torpedo from the Borg cube impacted the saucer, causing an overload in the helm console. Then, Taurik watched as the Na'jigat resurfaced and the Borg were destroyed.

"Bridge to Commander Freeman. Set a course for the energy cloud, full impulse. Once we have maintained sufficient momentum, cut ALL power."

"Mr. Travis, you have the bridge."

Taurik gets up and leaves the bridge.

[Solark Baklavar]

Thank you Ensign, I appreciate it. That should be enough. Maintaining target on the coordinates. Let's HOPE this is enough. Commander...............I believe you need to see this. The Evolution is about to do something on viewscreen.............Sensors are indication a strong energy coming from their phaser array on their ship. They look like they are about to fire.....................................The readings are indicating a rise in power in their tactical systems. An effect similar to the Captains.....................That's strange.

(On the viewscreen, The Evolution is shown heading toward the N'ygat. A strange looking beam begins to enamate from the phaser banks of the Evolution with a strange whitish blue glow.................................)
