Captain in Marine ranks is like Lieutentant in Starfleet ranks...  And good to see that you finally responded to something in here....   And yes Ternok I believe there are only 4 positions filled right now that might be bumped up to 6 if the Fighter pilots that i had assigned come forth and accept a position on the uss cortez...

off: Here are the 2 closest regulations I found.

Starfleet Regulations state that an officer placed in nominal command of a vessel must retain/keep command until relieved by the commander of official Starfleet record. Anyone other than the commander of record will be subject to immediate court-martial should they attempt to exercise command of said vessel/commander.

Order 104, Section B: Starfleet order which establishes chain of command. Allows a superior officer to assume command of a Starship when its Captain is absent.

Well there is the map of our sector.  You will be leaving from starphoenix and heading towards the Dark Passage but do not enter the Dark Passage, From there you will continue around the Asteroid Field and heading up towards the Van'Gu Cluster, After you are near the Van'Gu Cluster please procede South to Station Avalon at which point if you would like you can make a stop and see some of the sights on the Station Avalon, after leaving Avalon you will be returning to starphoenix.

I would like for this Mission to take a "Month" Real time.

"Computer Begin power up seqeunce. Dissengage station keeping mode". Presses a few buttons and engages the thrusters. Moves the ship away from the station. The station began to shrink as the distance counter began to scroll up. At 301 Metres i spun the ship around and calculated the course to the dark passsage. "Computer engine readout"

"All systems read normal"

"Engaging engines Warp 4"
The ship rocketed in to warp speed.

"Warp 1 sir, 2, 3 and 3.9 We have warp 4 Sir"
