Salen joins Ambassador Trell, Ensign Movack and Lt. Brodie at the Ops station.  He brings up an overlay of the energy trails atop the sector map.  It becomes obvious that these are not natural, such as comet trails, or uncommon natural occurances such as superstring vibrations.  The Romulan Ambassador ponders his reaction before replying to Salen's enquiring look.

Salen turns his head from the viewscreen and says without getting out of his chair, "That'll be all, Ensign.  Stand down.  And Mr. Ambassador, please refrain from sarcasm with my junior officers- it isn't worthy of your high rank to bait mere crewmembers."

Turning back to Sven Guiss he orders that the Blackfire move within 1 kilometer of the transmission source.  Still cloaked, the Blackfire glides forward.

"Mr. Ambassador, perhaps you can tell me if this is a live transmission, or if it is a recording?  If this is not a distress signal, I want to know what I'm dealing with."

*** I stand at attention, awaiting the other members of the away team arrive.  I see ENS Guis walk and a few minutes after that the remainder of the Away Team, enters the Captain's Quarters/ Ready Room.

"Commander, it looks like all members of the away team are here and every one is accounted for."

Mr. Salen if you call this a regular posting mission then i question you. Yet if you can show no more respect then i will not stop you. The misuse of Moderation powers is not a 'high' thing. And common sense says ask first. I mean really, who deletes the CO's posts? Its just a duh factor Commander.

This is our CMO Walter Collians.

General Mason has ordered us to this station to pick up a couple Romulans that were supposed to join us in our mission, but apparently they have not responded to our hails.

Now, Garcia, you and Donaldson will team up and me and Collians will team up. That leaves you two *looks at the ensigns* you will guard the bridge of the station while our teams investigate throughout the station.

Keep in mind that we are not hunting for an enemy but instead trying to find those people. Keep your weapons on stun, in case there is any trouble. I don't want General Mason getting on my case about having to deal with a dead Romulan. Unless it is of the Coalition.

OFF: I have reported in to the Blackfire, but I still need my FSS rank to be given me from General Mason.  I'll be glad to post as soon as I have more information.
