Mission 2 : Rescue

I have specialised training in Computer software and hardware Deletion etc from my training as a S31 agent.  Id like to Volunteer for the mission Sir.

OFF: yes you are supposed to be on this ship, Mannion,  you were beamed over here from the Yzakian ship together with me :P

He steadied himself and sat down, trying to stay calm.

"No better than the Borg... I admit you have a point to that, but if the Borg does decide to open a full scale war on the Federation, we will be no better nor worse than Borg, we will be Borg too...  And what do we have to fight them then?"

He sighed even more deeply.

"You have no idea what it means to be Section 31 director... sometimes it feels as if everything that goes wrong in the universe is my responsibility.  I am here to keep Starfleet safe, and so every time it is not safe, is because I failed to make it safe.  And Starfleet isn't safe, there is the Borg, there is Species 8472, there is the Metatraxi... And if any of them open full scale war on us, there will only be destruction, and though I am director of the only organisation that should be able to handle such threaths, I will be as powerless as a newborn baby..."

"Borg? We can't allow the Borg to assimilate the secret information stored in the databanks of a S31 ship! It will no longer be secret if its shared by a billion of Borg drones, and they'll know our real weaknesses and strike at them!
What are we waiting for? Let's set a course at maximum warp to the Shadow-Walker now!"

OFF: can we finally arrive by now? The shadow-walker mission is slowly dying so our arrival would boost it up.

OFF: thank you all for your keen interest, I'm not going to wait 5 years for you all to reply. I've beamed over to the USS Phoenix to try and save that ship now.

Gentlemen and ladies. It has come to my attention that recent activity in the Dark Passage has increased with them finding a vessel termed "Shadow Walker".

The Data on that ship contains serious security breaches of our orginization.

What I propose is the data on those computers be ereased by a team of elite people.

Failing that the ship "must" be destroyed.  Section 31 and SFI DO not exist. Remove all traces.

Flag Admiral Vorak and the USS Llasha are also currently docked at shadow walker. DO NOT KILL The Flag Admiral. He is still of great use to us.

"He may be right about the temptation be too great and all that... but think! THINK!  If the Borg invades our space... largely... with a huge fleet of borg cubes and spheres... and Starfleet is about to be destroyed and you have a couple of drones capturing you and looking you right in the eyes before they assimilate you... what will you think then?  Won't you regret then that we have destroyed our only chance to get rid of them forever?"

Shadow-walker? Hm, wasen´t that that old S-31 ship that you lost years ago?

Reports have come in that a Borg Vessel has been sighted heading in the Location of the Shadow-walker.

Course laid in cloaking device enabled, approx time to shadow-walker - 2 days.  Approx time borg to reach shadow-walker, half a day.

Let's pray the borg dont see the ship personael as viable to be assimilated, or we are in for a serious fight.
