Freeman, Walker, Bain, and Antilles board the Delta Class ship and begin the preflight sequences. Freeman is at helm, Walker at Tactical, Bain at Ops, and Antilles at Engineering.

"Mr. Antilles, bring the impulse engines online and empty the deuterium tanks. Mr. Bain, prepare to bring the Omega particles into the tanks with the Bussard collectors."

OFF: no but the omega particle obviously makes ships lose their warp capabilities.

if it is any indication of the Omega particles power they should have lost their warp engines too.
