Negotiations between Starfleet and the Delta Alliance

[Ardwyad]

*The blue-skinned Nigillian Chief of Command of the ASC Revox walks into the Embassy office, holding some strangely shaped bottle in his hand, and curiously looking around. He is accompanied by three of his officers, another blue-skinned Nigillian, a Naederian who is apparently a medic, and some impressive droid. Ardwyad redirects his attention to the people in front of him: captain Sanchez, commander Brooks, admirals Vorak and Karelia, and the ambassador.*
"Good greetings to you all. I am honoured to be welcomed by so many. As you already know, I am Ardwyad, Chief of Command of the A.S.C. Revox. This is Comm One, my sub-chief."
*He points at the droid who then steps forward.*
"And this is Dhante Tehoral, and our professional Naederian medic Ragolis."

[Ragolis]

*Ragolis suddenly gets up and holds his scanning device near Sanchez's head.*
"Give me one moment, Chief, perhaps their species do not have the brain capacity to understand our reasoning. I'm reading now if his brainwaves are different from ours, so that we will perhaps have to search for another approach to talk with them on a more primitive level."

[Koloblicin]

OFF:I've tried to post buy my computer has crashed and it's the holidays
"Mr. Ragolis I would be happy to give you our medical info."
*Walks over to the computer*
"I will bring up the info now.Is there anything else I Can do for you?"

[Dalon]

OFF: No problem sir. Karelia enters the Embassy office and sees the others straightening the place up a bit.

"Hello, Admiral. Good to finally see this place used."

[Kiatya]

*makes a hand motion for ragolis to sit back down*

*Karelia mumbles to himself*

"Here we go..."

*He eats the salt, then takes a drink, downing the whole glass almost immediately, then places some salt in Admiral Vorak's hand*

"The salt, for the..."

*Karelia almost falls down*

"... for the bitterness of life."

[Randall Sanchez]

"Ehm... yes sir!"
*He quickly gets up, and takes glasses from the shelves on the wall. He places an empty glass in front of each person sitting at the negotiations table. The last person is Comm One, the Droid...*
"Uh... are you able to drink this... Razanis as well?"

[Ardwyad]

"That sounds like a very good proposal, admiral. However, such a case requires the approval of the High Queen first."

[Ardwyad]

*Ardwyad's eyes are widening, as he hears the High Queen state her true person, and glances almost in disbelief.*
"The High Queen... Really the High Queen? Oh my!"
*Immediately lets himself fall from his chair, onto his knees, and bows deeply in front of the High Queen.*
"Forgive me, your majesty, if I did not treat you according to your rank... I... I did not know."

[Tankalan]

Tankalan walks in behind Senator Kiatya

Greetings to you all from the Talonion homeworld please allow me to greet you in the customary Talonion way.

Talonion then begins to walk around the room wrapping everyone in the room in his wings but taking extra care to wrap the Vulcan known as Vorak and the Human known as Sanchez in his wings for an extra time, after a certain amount of time Tankalan procedes to take his seat beside the Senator

[Vorak]

*Admiral Vorak gets up before anyone else can say anything. He walks up to Ardwyad and raises his hand in the Vulcan greeting.*
"Live long and prosper, Mr. Ardwyad. In name of Starfleet, I welcome you on board Deep Space 12."

[Vorak]

*Flag Admiral Vorak enters the embassy office with Sanchez and Dalon.*
"Computer, lights."
*Instantly, the computer obeys and the room is illuminated. The chairs were not set neatly in order, and some things had fallen on the floor, but beside that, the room was in good order to have important negotiations be held.*
"Very well, it will take only a moment to put the office in good order. Clearly, the Romulans have not even attempted to enter this room. After all, they are not a very diplomatic people. The only reason the office is slightly out of order, is because the station must have sustained some shocks during the battle."
*Vorak rearranges some things, and motiones to Sanchez and Dalon.*
"Please do sit down."

[Randall Sanchez]

"Now that would most definitely sound interesting. Before that warp speed rule was instated by Starfleet Command, our missions didn't even take half that long as they do now!"

[Ardwyad]

"Mr. Vorak, Mr. Sanchez, Mr. Reeves... we indeed do have alternative technology. It was developped by one of our member species, of who we don't have anyone with us right now though, called the Traquel. They developped something called the 'Null-Space Catapult'. It throws your ship at an incredible fast speed toward the destined coordinates. In fact, it is even faster than warp 9, and yet does not damage subspace. It is a fine piece of technology, though with its limits of course. The maximum distance it can throw you, is limited - even though it's considerably far - which is why we have several of these catapults installed in Delta Alliance space. When we travel to the Temples of Sordinan, Mr. Sanchez, you will see our nearest Catapult at the very borders of the Quantum Singularity Network. I even invite you to try it out."
