As the ready room doors slide open, a young-looking man with sandy hair and piercing blue eyes looks around for a moment.  Once acquainted, he strides to the captain, stands smartly at attention,  and says, "Captain! LT Bruce D'Armien, Assistant Science Officer, reporting for duty, sir...it is a pleasure to meet you, and I await your orders, sir!".
