Will couldn't help but smile when he saw the recording from Julia, and it made him curious what this "surprise" was. It was nearly the end of his shift anyway, and so by the time he was finished writing his end-of-day reports and closed out his console, it was time to leave. He took a moment to send a message to Julia's quarters to tell her he was on his way. Having finished everything he needed, Will stepped into the turbolift. "Officer's quarters," he said as soon as the doors closed. The turbolift took off and, being a large space station, it took longer than usual to reach it's destination.
