Hobson stood next to the Marine Liason and waited until the Dantor discussion of the meeting was concluded.
"Well, Admiral, the science department on the station is empty, overall. I have few staff, and no projects. All in all, not what I think the headquarters of the Starfleet Expansion Project's science branch should be like".

Admiral Madisons personal comm signals.

*...As the ship came into sensor range Yates had walked into ops to check up on things and the officer on watch had reported the findings...*

"A severely damaged freighter traveling sub-light? Can you determine were it could be from?"

Officer of the Watch: "Negetive, Sir. What actions shall we take?"

"Send out three Danube Runnabouts and tractor the ship into the main bay and secure it."

OW: "Aye, Sir."

*...Soon three runabouts are deployed and they tractor the ship into the main bay and secure it. YAtes heads down to the lock and waits...*

Dock Officer: "Sir, the hatch is opening..."

Vil'iata gratefully accepted the heating devices from both the marine and the ambassador, thanking them both. She decided to use one and keep the other as a backup in case of a problem. Listening closely as it's operation was explained to her she quickly attached it to her clothing and turned it on, setting it for as close to her planets normal temperature as possible.

As the heat penetrated her scales there was a notable relaxation of her posture as she slowly warmed up. In responce to the ambassador's question, "'I really don't know, as this was not exactly a planned visit.'" With a slightly dejected expression, "'I was supposed to have been back home by now, with a successful completion of the Tests and ready to begin my training at our Fleet Academy. Now I'll have to wait another year before the Tests are offered again.'"

[Kirby Oak]

*Kirby walks in and waits for the Admiral to finish his conversation so he can talk with him. Getting a little nervous, he starts readjusting and straightening his uniform as he waits.*
