Ardeth Wildcat

Rogue 2's monitor face glinted in the bright light.  He looked sad, and scared.  "Um, Balkazar, I'd be a little more careful." Ardeth said, "Rogue 2 has a weird looking Webcam hidden somewhere, and I think it is really not something you want fired in your face.  Rogue 2 hasn't ever wanted to be as tall as anything besides himself.  If you've noticed, he's frightened, not by your angry speech, but from the height at which he is being held.  (oh, and Balkazar, Rogue 2 weighs about 50 pounds.)  Rogue 2's usually mischievious face had vanished, as he restarted himself.  He had brought motors online, with Ardeth's permission.  "I'll calm down.  Just don't harm me, and I would rather stay this size.  Same with my sisters." Rogue 2 said, a sliding door opening to reveal the webcam.  "I won't need a phaser.  I've got a great little weapon here.  It's a laser." he said, retracting it and closing the door.  It hissed as the inside was removed of oxygen.

Montrell

*Montrell nods to Admiral Vorak and then sees him dematerializing. He then leans forward to Admiral Karelia*

"Well Admiral, this calls for some damn good logic and strategic planning, or else our defences will be overrun in seconds."

Taurik

As the cadet stepped away from Taurik, who was now trying his best to keep his composure, the elite charged again.

Taurik cursed himself for losing his train of thought.

He was thrown to the deck by a blast of psionic power, and he could only gaze as the elite leapt upon him with the searing blade of energy.

He could never jump out of the way in time...

Balkazar

Very good, *puts the rogue unit down*

Now, Ardeth.  Sense this has been taken care of, you think your robots would behave themselves if we took the force fields down so the admiral can use the power else where please ?, we do have a station to fix.

*turning to the rogue unit*

Well thats a nice lil lazer, Just keep it away from me, and dont fire it unless a bad guy like those dark psi warriors try to harm you physically.  Alright ?, Most of starfleet is alright except for a couple of bad people, but otherwise keep your weapons in check alright ?

Ardeth Wildcat

Wildcat's phaser fire killed a few Dark Psi Warriors hiding in the Turbolift.  "Can't be riding with these guys alive." He whispered, landing on one of them.

Balkazar

Take up your positions,.........have half your men go around to the rear and guard the turbolift, MOVE!....

Lt: Yes Sir.

Taurik

"Foolish sentinel! You cannot stand against the might of the Heraan!"

Taurik looked the Heraani commander in the eye, drawing his khala effortlessly without a break in his stare. "You will not take Avalon Station without a fight, dark one," he replied.

The Heraani leapt at him with speed that belied his psionic power. Taurik barely had time to raise his blade to parry, and was knocked to the ground. Backflipping from the ground instantly, he narrowly missed being impaled as the commander stabbed his blade into the deck.

Balkazar

1,000 people huh ?, Well think of it this way, you know how Simon rajnus got to Captian ?, He made the WORST! descision ever when he accidently took command of a ship and he lost 1,000+ ppl before as well, you think he made captian bye making all the easy choices, Knowing him he would make the worst possible ones, THATS! why Intel Command trusts him, is because he makes some of the worst descisions ever, but he learned from his mistakes, and now hes a better captian, and a better man for it.

Your only human!, me and you, we cant play gods, and bring back the ones we lost, all we can do is learn from our mistakes, honor the dead, and live our lives the fullest, thats all anyone can ever do........I was in a mental break down once, did you know that ?, MAN!! I was so depressed after loosing my first man, and whats worse is Killing another, the first time I killed another man, I took a leave for almost a year, but then Simon came to me and told me to buck up, Grow up, and live my life, And thanks to him im a security officer, a commander to add to that, and im on a station after serving several years on a starship......Your no longer in the academy where you run simulations, or run training Excersises that when someone gets a minor injury they get sent to the infirmory, your in the big show now, your here, in space risking your life for some ppl who cant defend themselves, your protecting your family, and im protecting mine bye doing my part, Dont dwell on the loss, dwell and look forward to your future, and besides if you dont return to Intel, ill send That droid after you *smiles*

Also being in command, you also have to send people to there deaths sometimes, They new the risks when they went to the academy, they knew the risks, You realize at any point in time we could die ?, I could have died in this fight here, you could die out on a ship, or on a planet from some unknown virus or some such, So its all part of starfleet.

If you thought of every option with your limited training and you did the best you could then thats all that matters, doing your best even if you dont have the training.  And According to what I been hearing from the grape vine is that your a fine officer, and if you quit every single time you loose someone you wont get far in starfleet, You have my word on that.

But If I were you would stick it out a lil while longer in starfleet before you make any rash descisions, Alright ?....Learn from ppl, thats all I can tell ya is to watch and learn from different ppl and see how well they command, then make up your mind if your ready to take command of a ship or not!, Got it ?,

Your no longer in the academy anymore youngin, and sooner you realize it the better off you are......
