Transporter Room 2

[William Richerd]

The blue hue of the Transporter hummed into exsistance as a total of Seven Marines beamed onto the padd and faded into solid form. Richerd turned his head to see how the Cadet was handling himself with the transport, he had seen many people, including a few that were terrified of them.

[Balkazar]

*Balkazar and Vil'iata materialized in a blue hue on the stations transporter PADD*

"You alright, Vil'iata.  I wasnt sure if you been on one before?" he asked with concern in his voice.

"Hank, you are in charge of keeping O'clare in line, you 2 take point, put your weapons on stun just incase the stations populace decides to react with fear.  Sawyer and Charlie take right and left flanks, Richerd you tank front behind Hank and O'clare.  Tom and Sarah take rear guard stay closed in and remember we need to get Vil'iata to Ops with lil difficulties, Understand?" he had called out.

[Julian]

OFF: please all transports to and from the station please use a transporter room from now on. thankyou.

ICC:

*the transporters were activated and 2 figures phased onto the transporter pads*

Well Mr Alf, this is the Space Station Avalon. My home, and home to thousands of from all over the galaxy.

[M O'Clare]

Michael held himself together. He'd been on tons of transporters before as transporters were used regularly on earth. Besides, the transport had been through a regular transporter station so disorientation was minimal.

[Vil'iata Najadum]

Vil'iata materialized next to Balkazar. She was now wearing her new translator/vodar which had been programmed with all the languages spoken on Base so now not only she could finally understand verbal communications but others could finally hear what she was saying without her needing to 'path them. The device was deceptively simple in appearance as it looked like nothing more complex than an intricate headdress.

Smiling over at Balkazar, "'I am fine. We have a similar matter-transmission device so I am familiar with the process.'"

The words were heard audibly by those in the room, but did not sound at all mechanical or stilted as computer-generated speech often was. The Sylesi had by necessity development special software that converted their mental speech patterns not only into audible sound, but into highly individualized speech, mimicing perfectly a normal spoken voice. Many species found it slightly disconcerting to hear them speak in this manner while their mouths never moved.

[ALF]

<Looking around in ALF noticed that they were far more advanced then ALF and his people were, for a few seconds he seemed almost awe struck as he walked down the small steps to the floor>

"Oh you are advanced much more then we are.  Im somewhat afraid tho.  With such technology, im curious as to why you wish us in your F......Fed.....er.....ration.  Im not complaining but im curious is all.  Theres nothing wrong with being curious as long as the other person isnt offended by my curiousity.  My people are very curious to the point that some will explore on there own and make trouble when they dont mean too.  Some of the young may do that." Alf said still trying to grasp this city in the sky.

[William Richerd]

Richerd looked over at O'Clare. "Cadet, I want you and Hank to take up posistions around the door, The rest of you spread out, we have the General comming and I want this room secured." He looked at the technician standing in front of the controls, "Don't looked so worried, it is just a procedure, we don't want any accidents happening." He then took up a post right next to the technician.

[Balkazar]

"Good, lets move out to ops.  Lets hope one of the Admiral's is there."

*Then the 7 marines and 1 sylesi left the transporter room and began to move towards the turbolift with lil incident aside from the usual curious children or another, they finally reached the turbo-lift and a few minutes later arrived at ops*

The Federation isnt just for races with advanced technologies. There are many different species in the Federation, all with varying technological advances. We really like to explore the galaxy and make friends on the way. You and your race were found completely by accident, and i must say, your lucky we found you and not one of our enemies. There seem to be some bad people out there, some of which may very well have either enslaved you or even killed you. The Federation is about peace, not war.

*Julian leads Alf towards engineering*

"Yes, sir."

Michael moved over to the door and stood imposingly on the right side, Hank on the left. The rest of the marines spread out to take their positions.

[William Richerd]

Richerd nodded his head and turned to face Vil'ata, But then he turned to face the other's of he Marines, "You heard the Colenal, Let's move, and don't stare, I am sure there will be items that will surprise our guest, now move." Richerd was happy to be back in the Marines, but since he was once a Security Chief in Starfleet, he had a unique perspective of seeing both areas of survice.

He took the front like Balkazar had said and he nodded to Hank, he agreed that he should watch over O'Clare.
