Skon VS Vakin

[Vakin]

OFF: Excuse me for any errors, I'm extremely tired.

*Vakin is escorted into the courtroom by two security guards. He's cuffed and looks not to be in the best of moods. They seat him at a table before the judge.*

"Firstly, Montrell, may I request my cuffs be removed? I find them quite unagreeable."

*Unbeknowest to the others, he contemplates.*

[Montrell]

*Montrell was sitting in his chair, seated above the others that were present in the room. He was reviewing the latest material and making sure the trial would proceed normally.He then hears the request of Vakin and immediately nods to one of the security officers present in the room. Vakin was released from his cuffs*

"I grant you this request but don't violate my trust."

Montrell saw that everyone was present to start the trial and so he did.

"All right, this is the trial of the Federation against Vakin; Vakin against Skon and Starfleet against Skon. Because all cases are related with each other I will judge over them all at once. At first the case against Vakin will be on the agenda."

Montrell takes the proper PADD and takes a look at it.

"Mr Vakin, you must stand trial for sabotage of Federation property and technology, the attempt of damage and destruction that could have lead to several deaths, and the last accusation is spying."

*Montrell looks at the defendant with serious eyes*

"What have you got to say about this serious matter?"

[Varnek]

You...you are one of the ones who brought the Burma back to us...you must take me to him...

[Skon]

*Skon blinks and rubs the back of his head. On the floor, he sees two phasers. He concentrates and blinks again. Now, there is only one phaser. He picks it up. Time is running out. He must subdue Varnek and get the code. He stands up unsteadily and heads down the hall after Varnek.

[Hermes]

*Suddenly, a kind and warm voice responds.*
"The... Burma? If you are referring to captain Roland Burma, his last known location is on station Vontak Nor. It is quite a distance from here though. Is there anything else I can help you with?"

[Varnek]

[Montrell]

*Montrell enters the JAG office, puts on some light and prepares everything for court hearing. He reads over the report on the padd again: Vakin must stand trial for sabotage of Federation property and technology, the attempt of damage and destruction that could have lead to several deaths, and spying. Skon stands trial for breaking the Prime Directive, by not carrying out the orders to negotiate with the Loxian Government, but give aid to the Loxian exiles that were banished by the Loxian Government, even to the extent of mass transporting them to another location and oppose the Loxian Government in this internal dispute.*

[Paris Love]

OFF: Skon and I were hoping to make something of this, so if possible, humor us.

*Love enters descretely, save the slight clicking of her heeled boots on the floors. She slips into a seat next to Skon's, allowing him a brief smile. She extracts a PADD containing more precise data and so forth. She places a gentle hand on the Captain's shoulder, leaning in to whisper serenly.*

"I've dug it all up; I have my contacts too, you know: The lives you've saved, plus if I'm not mistaken, your help was requested...would you still be justly accused of breaking the directive if that be a factor? I've collected the ship data as well, it easily condemns Vakin. No worries."

[Balkazar]

*Balkazar takes his seat near skon.....*

*Watches as Vakin and Varnek is brought into the court room and seated..*......*sees paris love enter and take her seat next to skon*

[Skon]

I can do that. The USS Evolution has already returned to Vontak Nor. A colony of exiles has been established there. You can return and see Captain Burma again...but, you must help us. The Skytoucher has been stolen by Vakin. My first officer is still onboard. He has found a device that could save the ship and Vakin's hostage. But we need the access code. Give it to me, and we can save the ship...and I promise you that you will see Captain Burma again.

[Varnek]

*Varnek flinches and slaps Skon's hand away.*

BAH! You will use none of your Vulcan tricks on me. I MUST FIND THE BURMA.

*Varnek slams Skon's head to the floor and runs down the hallway.*

[Varnek]

*Varnek's mind is still a little muddled...the last "person" he heard talk was Hermes...He rolls over again on the floor...*

Hermes? Where is THE BURMA? I must find him...

[Hermes]

"Well Mr Varnek, I've contacted Admiral Montrell and he will find a solution to your problem. I hope this satisfies your request for a trip to "the Burma"."

[Vorak]

[Varnek]

*A few minutes later, Varnek is also led in and he is also in cuffs. During his time in the Avalon's brig. he has come to terms with what he saw on Vontak Nor. He has rejected the Loxian government and fully embraced the religion of the exiles. He smiles at Vakin.*

Greetings, brother. The Burma has returned. It is a glorious time for the people. There should be much rejoycing.
