OFF: Well good, seems there's a job for you in the Docking Bay.

[Embries]

*Embries turns to the door.*
"What, Open? Who left it open?"
*Then he turns back to Vorlok.*
"And what guards?"

[Embries]

OFF: before I continue, can you please please please answer my questions?
What is this being supposed to be? Where was it found exactly? How was it found? What sort of being is it supposed to turn out to be? Is it violent or peaceful? Can it talk? Is it humanoid? Does this being have any ties with the storyline of the Na'jigat attacking Starphoenix Base?

[Mike Nickerson]

Mike walk into the Science Lab.

"Hey, Major. I got my orderlies finishing up in the Docking Bay, and I heard there was a strange creature down here, so I figured you could use some help."

[Akasayuniashirakomas]

*The being tilts her head, as any confused dog would. She stares for a moment, Then parts her lips in a rather awkward attempt:*

"Mee-naaaaaime-es-MIKE!"

She points to herself, creating the same gesture.

She then points to Embries.

"This is Ombreez."

She has every intention to mimick the rest, but her attempt is found wanting.

"Weemee Nawhamm. Canoe durstan meeee?"

She giggles slightly at Mike's expression to her response.

[Akasayuniashirakomas]

OFF: Well, if you want to succeed  in communicating, this may be a long shot, but you could actually try LETTING HER OUT OF THE CONTAINER!!! Yeah, maybe you'd have a better understanding if you were to actually INTERACT with it. Come on, I thought I was dealing with scientists. And I assure you, Hermes will have no luck in translation.

[Mike Nickerson]

"I'm sorry Major, but I cant stay. I have abandoded the infirmary for too long already. Good luck."
Mike leaves the Science Lab.

[Akasayuniashirakomas]

"Aei ycwob xel up!"

She pushes off of the fixture and gracefully descends, landing noiselessly on the floor in the same, crouched position. She peers up to them, wordlessly.

[Akasayuniashirakomas]

The being stares at the water, skeptical. Unsure of whether to try it or not (being that the last thing given was a dry piece of bread, yuck), she simply stands idly, looking at it, then to the men, then back to the glass of water. Her countenance reveals she is debating it.

[Embries]

*Embries strides back into the science department, after a long absence.*
"Computer, lights."
*The dark room lightens up again, and Embries looks around.*
"Am I really the only scientists on this station that ever makes use of these labs?"
*He runs his finger through the dust of the panels.*
"Or cleans them, for that matter. Ahh, well back to my old life it is."
*And Embries gets to work again.*

[Embries]

*Embries was just tidying the place, when he heard the voice of Eric.*
"Ah, Mr. Eric, welcome. It is nice to meet new people here. I heard there is going to be a party of some kind in Celtic Corner tonight, are you attending as well?"

[john logens]

*As the two continue to talk counselor logens enters.*

"Excuse me, anyone here. Im the station counselor John Logens, its a pleasure to meet you all. I wouldnt normaly do this but things are a little slow in the office and i was wondering if there was anything i could help out here with."

[Hermes]

*Suddenly, all lights go out on the entire station... Every single room, corridor and hall goes completely dark... And all access to the light controls are disabled for all officers aboard the station, even Flag Admiral Vorak.*
"Dark your days be. The light good Hermes can bring you. Ask good Hermes for the light, don't forget to say please."

[Embries]

"It will be interesting indeed, Mr. Hobson. I am always up for a scientific challenge."

[Hedford]

Smiles and takes her hand into his and slowly walks out of the Science Department with her.
