"Ensign, have you seen ensign Mann and crewman Biggins around?"

Cmdr Hodson walks in to enginering and goes to Archer.

" Sir is there anything I can help with?"

"Many vulcans dont smile or show emotions.  I decided to be more human then Vulcan, tho I think it drives the other Vulcans on the Rivendell up the wall at how I like to be on the Holodeck fighting then be on duty 24/7 and be all logical.  Personally I rather have fun, then be all logical."

"Running freight must have been of some humour wasnt it ?" <Half-smiles at mann as she went to work>

=^= Captain, I think our first drop out should be in 10 minutes, then we will have an hour of vulnerability at impulse, when the hour is up we can re-engage the warp field.  Sir, I was thinking, would it be possible to have the ships who are using there tractor beams to engage there shields to encompass the entire station for say 30 minutes ?, would buy us a longer period at warp and shorter downtime to recharge the stations shields.  The ships extended shields would act as sorta a buffer in a way." =^=

=^= Kassie to Ops and Archer, we are doing an emergency drop out of warp.  I repeat this is an emergency drop out, this may be a lil rough ride.  Get Medics to Manns location immediately, shields are failing, power is being lost somewhere.  I repeat we are exiting warp NOW!.  <Pushes a few buttons on the propulsion panel as the station drops out of warp and containment fields are errected>, Ops, we are safely out of warp.  Damn it, I suggest we do a complete diagnostics and get mann to the medical bay ASAP.  He went to try and fix a shield array problem and his comm cut out.  The area he was working on is safe now and its contained.  I believe we may have to stay longer at impulse then originally expected.  Ill beam him to the medical bay."

*Kassie goes over to another panel and engages a transporter beam, and locked onto Manns commbadge and transported him to the Medical bay*

*The station and ships jumped to warp again, and everything seemed to be going fine. 6 hours and two more drops out of warp later, the largest part of the journey was completed. 15 minutes after the station and ships had engaged their warp drives for what was to be the final time, something shook the entire station, after which it suddenly dropped out of warp. *

*Archer, who was on the Lhasa, saw this happen and he disengaged the warp drive of his vessel.*

Julian:"I have no idea. Engineering report!"

[Hodson]

Hodson walks over from the other side of enginiering and goes up to Kassie.

"Here let me give you a hand with that, and sorry about earlier I didn't mean to be rude I was just making a suggestion but I'm sorry. Forgive me?

Hodson helps with the repairs to the station

Morgan goes to work on the systems and 25 minutes later has everything rerouted.

"The boards are green captain, we are ready to proceed."

Good work all of you, i'll be heading back to ops now so we can leave

*Ensign Mann working at his Engineering console looks up at both the Captain and Crewman*

"Captain, I have been running diagnostics on all shield genetors and the matrix.  There are some slight deviations in the synchronization.  I don't think it is a massive problem but I would advise a recalibration.  I should be able to complete it from my station here without impacting the schedule."

[Kassie]

"Most people dont take the ideas of an Ensign too well, so if im yelled at I look at the Deck plating and concentrate on that instead of concentrating on the superiors yelling."

"Ive alredy done most of the Calculations and bye my calculations we can do it.  Best case scenario is that it works without much trouble.  Worse case scenario is that it works but we blow some EPS conduits and loose shields in enroute, but I think if the shields starts to fade we drop out of warp and proceed to Dantor on the ships assisting the station, on impulse power.  Then when the shields are at 100% again we can jump into warp again.  If this happens I estimate atleast 4 jumps before we reach Dantor safely, sir."

[Eugene Archer]

"Great idea, please see to it that it is arranged in time."

[Julian]

*Julian was entering engineering to get a status report as he heard Commander Hodson telling ensign Kassie what to do*

Mr Hodson, i will speak with you later.

*follows Kassie through the jefferies tubes and sits on the other side of where she locked herself in*

Ensign come out from there at once and thats an order.

Do not worry your not in trouble. But i need you to be helping Mr Archer with setting the station up. Now you cant help much by sitting in there can you?

I will deal with Mr Hodson. Now hurry and get back to work.

*crawls out of the jefferies tube*

Mr Hudson, i asked you to come down and ask what needed to be done to help. Not to try and take over.

So Captain Archer, how the the old girl hold up if we go to warp with her?

*Looking up from the console Mann looks at Kassie and smiles*

"No, Ensign Kassie I have not decided as of yet.  Right now I am happy to help in moving hte space station.  Oh, and thanks for the advice.  I must say that I am impressed with your abilities, not only in engineering......."

*Mann quickly looked away hoping he had not spoken out of turn*
