"Now, as I'm sure you all know, the Romulan Coalition is a group of renegade Romulan naval units that have rejected the new alliance with the Federation. They still stick to the old Romulan ways of ruthless imperialism. I did some research, and found out that they were formed from captains of vessels from the Romulan Star Empire, ships that unprovokingly attacked Federation trade freighters bound for Romulus. These officers were exiled, and were a mere pest until they all banned together, got their hands on some ships, and began conquering space to the galactic north of the Romulan Empire. They were succeeding quite well, but were still not much trouble for the Empire until they found Khazara Station. They were able, by a slim margin, to capture the station and either evict or absorb the remaining Imperial officers. I'm not sure if you know, but Khazara Station is a very developed spacedock facility with it's own shipyards, capable of building the most advanced of the Romulan vessels. This is a huge problem. They have employed D'deridex and Norexan class warbirds against us several times. This is where the Coalition keeps its main battlefleet. A secondary battlefleet, which is not near the size of the main fleet, was used to capture Deep Space Twelve. This is also a major problem. One of StarFleet's most advanced spacedocks is in Coalition hands. They have all of our secrets. Luckily, our vessel design schematics are protected by a Level 14 security clearance encryption code. But, we must recapture the station before they crack the codes, or else the Coalition will be capable of producing every vessel in the Federation fleet. I dont believe I can stress how serious of a threat the Coalition is."
