"I think SOMEONE! needs to study more because both answers were WRONG!.  You can only remove a Admiral or Captain or ANY rank from command unless you have proof to show there judgement has been compromised!!"

"Tell me, if you were at tactical what parts of a ship would you aim for to disable without destroying the ship or harming or killing the occupants of the ship!  Answer me!" Simon said glaring at the young Lois.

Mark frowned, he must've gotten mixed up.

"Oh, sorry. Um, well it's best to stun them with our phasers- kill if needed. Or another thing to do is to lose them by trying to scramble their radar, than go stay low somewhere for a few hours before setting off again."

"No it shouldnt, because even tho you may not know it, Captains do things for a reason.  The captain may have had a reason to give you command of the away team.  All my questions that im asking you is because in sometime in your career you may be faced with Command descision's or put into a position your uncomfortable with and im here to train you to expect such times and to teach you to respond to orders with lil thought."

"Tell me something about you that most wouldnt know, Lois?"

OOF: Oh nice last part http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

IC: Mark started tapping his foot yet again,

"Well the marines use the old earth army ranking system while everyone else uses the earth navy. Since their marines i'm guessing they use big guns like phaser rifles and body armor." He paused, staring up at the captain.

"And I don't know any attack patterns for a starship sir, but I'd gladly study them after class."

Mark lifted his head and looked at the Captain,

"A Marine can usally be identified by and standard starfleet body armor that all marines use. All starfleet personals are required to wear the starfleet badge symbol, the badge is used to transport starfleet personal to certain areas using beaming techonligy. A Starfleet marine also carries the standard VI phaser rifle and the tools on the marine's tool belt can easily be identified due to it's common seeing on a federation starship."

Mark let his head drop for a few seconds on his neck before raising it again,

"Some tactics a starfleet marine uses is to always keep the mission that the marine has been set to do always in mind, they are required to finish they're mission no matter what. The common 'Duck and Cover' tactic is also used where the marine is to take cover behind a object while being fired upon, a marine cannot fire unless he or she feels that their or someone elses' life is in danger. A marine must keep the lives of him or her self and other innocent poeple alive."

Admiral Lucas Bailey of GreyWolf Division offered me a posistion aboard the USS Nautilus.  I am fairly confident that would be a good place to start my tour of duty after graduation.

Ardeth Wildcat

Agh!  Not a harder one!  Finding myself in this situation, I'd Try and stun the guy with the phaser, then beam me and the captain up to the ship.  Then I'd get the heck outta there.

Kawolsky

"Sir, he does have a point, however, i do agree that firing on another sentient being is immoral and as a cadet it was not his call to do so"  said Cadet Kawolsky.

1) What tactic would you use if you were being surrounded bye enemy forces and you had a unit of 10 officers with you ?

I would wait as long as possible for aid, and then if nothing else presented itself and the enemy was extremely hostile, we would attempt to cut our way out with phasers.  If there were another way of escaping, or a chance that I and my men would be given fair terms which would not comprimise the nature of our mission, I would surrender.  If none of these were favorable, I would challenge the leader of the enemy forces (providing their culture permitted) to single combat, hoping that this would give my officers time to escape.

2) If you were out numbered, how would you handle the situation ?

It would depend on how badly outnumbered I was, and whether or not I could get away, and how imperitive it would be to stay and fight.  If duty demanded, I would sacrifice the lives of myself and my men.  However, if at all possible I would seek a way of escape.  Also, if despite the fact that we were outnumbered there was a good chance of victory, I would fight on.

3) What is the proper Setting for a phaser rifle in the hands of a cadet ?

3

4) What level of setting would you set the phaser rifle at for you to Vaporize a target ?

Assuming the target is a base humanoid, setting 8

5) What way would you take, if you had to infiltrate an enemy base ?, the Shoot them till there dead route ?, or the Sneak bye them without being seen route ?.

Stealth is always preferable.  I would do the former, and then if it failed, the latter.

*Balkazar walks into the class room, as Ardeth and manach were hard at work but notices 2 more cadets*

"Welcome, This is Ardeth, his robot Hal, and Manach.  Which should be graduating soon as well as Ardeth I think."  *smiles*
