(No one said you had to.  I just figured I'd do it the normal 20th century way.)

Excerpt from Ardeth's essay.

"I am officially aggravated, to put it in simpler terms, about Aonarin's firing on Rogue 2.  He should have known that Rogue 2 had seen a phaser and then saw it fired against him.  Also, when my Cybernetics went down, Rogue 2, also possibly renamed Hal, decided to take defense without completely deadly force.  He fired Compact Discs in a manner to do as much non-lethal damage as he could.  Personally, I think that next time Aonarin attacks a Rogue Unit, he'll get what he deserves.  Rogue 2 is sentient, by all means of the word.  He's afraid of death, thinks for himself, attempted to defend himself, protected a friend, and even was willing to sacrifice himself to save a friend, without being told to do so.  As for the Webcam Laser, well, he won't use that unless necessary.  I was exhilarated from the whole duel, and even to the point where I devised a whole new program to make the Rogue Units a little closer to Sentient Beings.  Now, all they need is one last thing: Names.  Rogue 2's already begging me to call him Hal, and his Sisters are being as bratty as possible, trying to get their names through."

Would Engineering be a decent option?  Then simply waiting it out, and keeping a few guards ready so if the intruders come, we could defend the command.

*gives Raja a copy of the questions for the pop Quiz*

1) What tactic would you use if you were being surrounded bye enemy forces and you had a unit of 10 officers with you ?

2) If you were out numbered, how would you handle the situation ?

3) What is the proper Setting for a phaser rifle in the hands of a cadet ?

4) What level of setting would you set the phaser rifle at for you to Vaporize a target ?

5) What way would you take, if you had to infiltrate an enemy base ?, the Shoot them till there dead route ?, or the Sneak bye them without being seen route ?.

Cobra, Marco Diaz, Said.  If you want to change courses you must re-register under a different name, meaning think of a different name, THEN! come back.

Cobra has to stay in the Marine training room, Cobra cant be in security, you have to do the full 4 weeks in Marine.  Sorry.  If ya dont re-register I cant teach you.  Sorry.  I dont make the rules I just follow them.

*Then turning to address the other cadets*

"I think I have an idea, Manser sit near Craz from now on, from this point on you 2 are tied to the hip in a manner of speaking.  Jason, good answer.  Very good answer and the exact one I was looking for."

"Now tell me if someone had a knife to an admirals throat and the bad guy was using the admiral as a body shield, your weapon on stun how would you handle the situation ?"

"Dont answer that Kawolsky."

*Then while awaiting the cadets to answer Balkazar heads behind his desk and pulls out a box and walks over to Kawolsky*

"Congratulations, you have graduated from DSA, *then hands Kawolsky the box containing a pip to ensign and holds out his hand to shake Kawolsky's*

Manach, You need to learn that Robots are called sentient for a reason.  There are many forms of Sentient life.  Robots just is one of the evolutions along that chain.  Hal here, aka Rogue 2, just happens to be a Sentient Life form regardless if hes got Chips and circuts or not.

Take EVERY! living being you run across, We are all Robots, We all have Circuts, we all have wires, Unique programmings that define who we are.  Will you shoot me or yourself because we are different ?, You need to learn that if your going to be a good Security officer.  Do what your told, and Never judge a Race because there different.  Racism isnt allowed in my class, and I wont tolerate it.

I have served with many different races who I have saved and they have saved me.  Hence I have made friends that way.  I even sent a message to one such friend and I hope he gets it.  Maybe you better work on your tones, Because this friend of mine, he may not be as lient as I am with your Racism.

Hal.  Talk to your sisters Translate what names they want.

If you can talk to something, and in this case Hal.  If you can talk to hal, carry on a conversation with him, Talk about ANYTHING! in this galaxy with them, EVEN! rumors, Then they are Sentient life forms, I consider Hal Sentient right now, Because he reminds me of Data.

Manach, Heres an assignment for you.  Do your homework on data.  Hes in the Computers archives, Do a essay on him.  You may learn a thing or 2.

Kawolsky, I think we should wait on combat simulations, But if you really want too.  Then I suppose we could.
