Mark shook his head, "I'm suppose to stay for four weeks, sir. But I've only stayed for 3 weeks. And In case you havn't noticed, I don't take the easy way out, I chose to go to the acadamy and not the field right away for a reason,"

He glanced at the captain, than back at the Admiral. "I also understand that they need more poeple, but what good is a person if they know nothing?"

"Ok, I want you all to pick up the phaser rifles and shoot those targets down there, there around 200 ft away, then I want you to switch to all known settings on the rifle and see how many targets you can get in 1 shot."

[Lois]

"When a federation starship is about to be boarded(hostile) than all security officers or tactical officers must be placed on at least one on each floor. All critical databases and resources that can be moved or destroyed must be shut off. There must be one security officer on each floor and during boarding it's most likely the captain will order everyone but security on the ship to go to a certin area- the mess hall probally. The security officers will carry a phaser rifle depending on the level of threat, they must remain in radio contact with other security officers at all time. A starfleet security/tactical officer may also be posted to gaurd vital areas on the starship that intruders might go for, they are also required to gaurd the captain during a boarding. Protocalls state that at least one security officer must be in the transporter room during a boarding."

[Quinn]

Quinn gives him a quick glance and mummbles a "Hi".

Marked walked into the classroom, his hair a bit wet. Luckily this time he didn't have anything in his mouth, "Afternoon Captain," He grinned, watching Swift leave. Finally, peace and quite. Mark stood at attention.

Hobson finished, and walked back towards his office.

*The way to Engineering was quiet a little to quiet as they reached the engineering room only to find it sealed and theres no lock on the side of the door, then they heard the all to familiar sound of those creatures coming, estimated time till contact 30 seconds*

Mark's eyes shot open, he quickly got up and sat on the chair. He had to work fast, now!

"The enemy is charging it's weapons, captain. Our weapons are operational and ready to fire." He said, checking the computer infront of him quickly.

[Lois]

"Aye sir," Mark replied, he aimed the phaser beams at the front ship, "Fireing phasers."

The long yellow beam shot from the starship and hit the bird of prey infront. The shields became visual as the beams connected with the ship, it was a amazing and worrying sight.

"Enemy shields are down to seventy percent."

[Apodae Swift]

"Choose the insanely dangerous option, you always choose the insanely dangerous option." Swift said as he fired a few shots. "Now get Alexia out of here, I am sure the 'ambassador' misses here. I'll hold off this no good... Is it a guy or a girl? I can really finish off my heroic selfless act speech with a lack of details. I bet Kirk never had these problems, back in the day you looked a man in the eye when you taunted and or killed him. Now it's all phaser fire from so far away I can't even tell my opponent's species let alone gender. Sure a Klingon will fight you to your face, an honour bound species. But the rest would gladly blast you off the surface of a planet from space and be at least a continent away before he starts shooting phasers at you... Anyway digress, you should probably grab her and run, I'll keeping him busy as long as I can, then set of a couple of the explosives to cause a cave in."
