"Very good, now tell me what is the standard security deployment on a starship thats about to be boarded.  What is the first to the very last thing you do to protect the ship.  Whats the very first thing you do, then tell me in DETAIL security force deployment?"

[Lois]

Mark nodded, "Aye sir, I'll keep that in mind. Or maybe I could've determinded the materials the wall is made out of with my tricorder, that is, if they didn't see me yet."

[Viktor Kozlov]

Viktor extends his hand to shake Captain Rajnus's. "Thank you sir." He answers breeming with pride.  After shaking the Captain's hand he steps back stands to attention and salutes, before heding off to Admiral Hobsons office.

[Simon Rajnus]

*Just then a Jem'Hadar ship did a suicide run and destroyed Voyager as well as all hands.  The simulations then shuts off as the simulation ended*

<Paces in front of the Cadets>

"Hmmmm, Explain to me what you all did wrong in this simulation.  Then explain what you think you did right." he finished as a new cadet entered.

"Fall in Cadet Frederik." he told the new Cadet.

What the hell...Gray, do you see that? We have to help Tiber first. Trie shooting the bastard. Ill stand gard incase more of those...things show up. We have to hurry...time is awaisting!

I guess so. If you have a problem wiht that, when this is all over i'm all ears. For now lets not go bouncing of the wall here and try to focus on the problem at hand. We have to get this damn power cell back to our own ship. All of us! Humanity as kicked the Borg and the Dominion's back side and i'll Be Damned
if those creatures get this power cell back. Let's  finish this.

"Theres the holodeck cadet, go and start running.  You have 10 minutes to catch up to your fellow cadets.  Youll have time to introduce yourself."

"Waiting for your fellow cadets, WHICH! are late.  I dont like my cadets being LATE! for class it will not be tolerated.  If they start being late now then they will think its ok to be late for there duty shifts if they make it threw the academy and make it to a ship."

"i am here to give my report as to my study of the medical database sir, i have studied it and have learned much about illnesses and diseases and the procedures to treat many of those illnesses plus the equipment and chemicles used in such procedures and feel that after examining the data base that i have learned more sir, and with that knowledge will be able to better treat myself and others if the need arises and only if a more skilled personal is not present"

*A tall vulcan looking female speaks up nearby*

"I suggest we stick together, if they alredy targeted you bye those darts then they alredy know where we are.  So I suggest we stick together.  We stick together and we stand a better chance of surviving.  Divided and we fall." she suggested.

[Lois]

Mark ran quickly through the dark corridors, his breath begining to get quick, he thought he heard voices through the wall, it could be anyone or anything. He reached for his tricorder and scanned for lifesigns, there were two but they were on the opposite side of the wall- it was no doubt Swift and Alexia.

The walls seemed to be made out of some sort of rock or stone. It seemed hard and sturdy when he touched it, how could a hand phaser destroy such thing? Unless it was set on the highest possible unit, which in that case would be dangourous.

[Lois]

"The hand phaser have settings from 1 to 16, from light stun to explosive or disruptive effects. So the higher you set your phaser setting to, the more power and dangourous it gets.

He picked up his phaser and aimed it at the target, he contunied,

"Well one situation I would change the settings is like what I did in the last simulation, changing the phaser setting to disruption I managed to make the effects more widespread to hit spread out enemies or objects in one shot."

"Another situation is when I'm trying to hit a object between a narrow or close-in space. I could set the phaser so it would have a more narrow effect at what I shoot at."

"Situations such as when your trying to not kill someone, but to just black them out for a few minutes. Thus, stunning them, which the settings would be placed on 1 or 2 , and maybe 3."

"Also another situation is if I want to move a heavy object out of the way, though this is not recommended if your in a enclosed space. I could set the phaser setting to high and blast or destroy the object that is blocking my way."

"And lastly, I could melt something. If I wanted to do that I could set the phaser to thermal effects, which is 4 and 5. If I keep my phaser holding for a period of time, the object I am aiming at will start to melt. Very handy when your cheese on your pizza isn't quite melted yet."

[Tom Hobson]

Hobson looked amusingly to Lois.
"You do not want to enter the field yet Cadet? That is very unusual, to say the least. I get the impression though, that you are all ready for it. The fleet needs you, and you have been in the classroom and training simulations for as long as I think can help you in what you will face. Survival is a risk in the field, but the crew as a whole will make it less a problem".

Hobson turned when Brown spoke to him.
"I'm sorry Lieutenant, I do not recognize you..? Are you here for training? It is not usual to see a Lieutenant here, since I know you are not an instructor or assistant instructor at the academy".
