"Cadet Montez...you have completed your medical training, and are granted the rank of Ensign. You may take on the correct teal uniform and Ensign pip. I think you were interested in becoming the SS Avalon Chief Medical Officer upon graduation? If so, that position is still open to you".

"Aye sir, and thank you," The grin didn't fade from his face as he left the room.

[Tom Hobson]

"Enter"

[Tom Hobson]

"I see. I wish you luck in the academy. Unless there was something of specific importance you needed to see me for, you are free to report to your classroom. I believe your information stated you are in the Security and Tactical course. In that case, you and the Captain here can meet with each other as you head back to the training area".

(OFF: Until further notice, the Academy has been deactivated due to lack of membership. Ms. Sheldon, I can offer you your position now, if you like. How does the rank of Ensign, and an assignment as Chief Medical Officer onboard the Evolution sound?)

"Thank you sir, I look forward to more simulations, and hearing about the internship for the embassy. Permission to be excused Sir?"

[Tom Hobson]

"I think you will come to be glad of that decision. You are hereby granted the rank of Ensign, in the field of Starfleet Medical. You are placed as the Assistant CMO on the U.S.S. Rivendell".
Hobson stood, and extended his hand.
"This is where we part, Ensign. You have been a fine Cadet in this course, and I wish you all the best in your Starfleet career in the Delta Quadrant".

OOC: The Rivendell is JUST starting it's mission. Take on the correct avatar, and ease into that. Report to the ship in it's mission thread as if you've just been a dormant character all along, now reporting in. You should have a very easy time of reading up on the mission, it is just a small ways in, not even really begun yet.

"We met for the Cadets, or Ensign now rather, follow up from the academy. I displayed the options with the medical completion to Ensign Navi, and the ensign made a decision based on that training, to serve on the USS Rivendell, with it's open position for an assistant CMO. Is there anything else, Ambassador?".

Hobson read the PADD, and set it close to him on the desk, keeping in mind that the Cadet would come soon.

"Thank you sir, that's sounds good to me." Swift said unable to hide his delight. "I eagerly await our first lesson." He walked towards the door and left in high spirits, all he had to do now was don his gold uniform and pips. He couldn't believe his luck.

If that is the olny CMO opening in the fleet that would be good.

*....Alex gets the word and he enters Tom's office. He walks to him and gives a salute and reports in...*

"Alexander Yates, reporting in for enrollment to the DSA, Sir."

<Standing near the door as the Cadet enters and made his intentions known, Simon stood there hiding the fact that this kid did indeed look like Yates.  Simon thought to himself hes going to be trouble and just stands there listening in>
