Ardeth refused, so Hal yanked himself onto a shair, and exposed a Grabber arm, moving around to position himself best for hitting buttons.  "I could tap in using my battery power to hyper charge the warp Drive!" Hal shrieked, remembering he had excessive power left.  Hal zoomed around, and found bare metal.  Touching it with his grabber arm, he switched off all unnecessary programs, and super powered the grabber arm.  It flowed through the shorted out hand, and boosted power levels, though only by 10%.  Hal mumbled, "I can hold out for 10 hours at this rate of power drain.  I could switch off more systems on myself if you would like.  That would give us half an hour more time." Hal then disabled his drive motors.  He switched off the mood processing systems, his monitor, and all other unnescessary programs.  He left a basic Voice Command Protocol and Voice Response active.  The battery drained at a slower rate, but wouldn't hold out too much longer.  Hal remembered about the WebLaser's secondary battery.  He jolted this into action.
