"Nothing is starting here without me, gentlemen," a loud voice resounds as footsteps draw nearer.

A man walks inside, wearing a Starfleet uniform.

"Your intentions are good, Zack Mannion, but you draw far too much attention. What if anyone tries to contact the admiral, or the doctor? They'll find it weird when they're not responding and can nowhere be found...  But we are here now nevertheless"

He extends his hands to the doctor and to Borusa.

"Greetings, gentlemen, please forgive my friend for all this trouble, but I assure you, he has the right intentions, and so do I.  My name is Svensson, and who I am exactly, you will find out later.  Keep my presence a secret, and you will see I can help you..."

[Zack Mannion]

[Doctor]

*The Doctor pushes Mannion away with his finger in distaste.*

"People, people, people... let's try to behave, shall we?  First of all, you'll not be able to trace Mr. Borusa.  He hasn't used a technology you are capable of using.  As for the transmats, or transporters, you know of- his kind have transcended such simple mechanical devices since before this universe was half it's present size.  No, face it- you're stuck with me."  

*The Doctor smiles, but the smile doesn't seem to reach his eyes."

"Secondly, human or not, the secret of the validium is mine now."  

*The Doctor turns to the Admiral and ignores his captors to explain.*

"You see, for validium to be completely active, it needs 2 things: 1. A critical mass, and 2. It's rightful operator.  At the moment, the validium is stable and relatively safe, because it hasn't met those 2 requirements.  And if I have anything to do about it, I'm going to make sure that situation remains unchanged."

*The Doctor sits back and glares at his jailers with obvious contempt.*

"Return the Admiral and I to our rightful places, and then we can discuss this situation in it's proper setting.  I will not work with terrorists."

My friend here *points to the doctor* holds the information you need And I have the authority to help you achieve what you need without you blowing your cover.  Now if we took this to a niceer pleasent environment without the facade of hostages, it will be a little more productive

*The admiral starts to reply, but the Doctor puts a hand on his chest and holds him back.*

"What, you're not even going to offer us tea?!  I don't see why we should cooperate with people who don't even offer us tea!"

Ok. If it is in this galaxy the FSS will find it. We have agents little everywhere. Even in the borg. But, that does S31 too, but that is not the important thing now. The important is to find a way to destroy it.

Time to go.  Doctor, we'll meet you on the Skytoucher.  My superiors have made sure the USS Skytoucher got a new mission.
