"Excuse me, Archer.  I may be to straight forward, but would it be possible with your permission to promote me to the rank of full ensign sense I have gotten training on the Rivendell as well as here, not to mention on the Evolution ?.  Ill understand if its not possible.  But I honestly find it useless to train in an academy when you can get hands on training, Sir."

[Kassie]

"I think we should take a security detachment with us because im not sure how secure the area is, I heard there was a riot down there almost 2 months ago, there could still be some unrest.  We should also notify the Marine battalion ahead of time before departure."

"Hello captain smith.  I was just revealing to Cook where he really came from.  Like I alredy told you.

Your mother came from a world called Chronos several decades ago.  When we were exploring the galaxy and our race was in its prime, your mothers ship was a scout ship.  She flew this far into the galaxy and we lost all contact with her.  We didnt know what really happened to her till I saw you.  Now I know.

Chronos was destroyed in a civil war and as a last hope we launched the Alexander with what was left of our grand military.  Our only hope was for the Alexander to find a home and they did here.  Then they were forced to move on.  We have culture and technology.  However our gifts are inborn no science or technology.  Some would call us conquerors for this, my father underestimated the patience of these people that your part of.

Your mother also was part of my grandfathers elite guard.  She held the utmost respects in our ranks.  When she was lost, her memory would live on in all of us.  Im happy your mother has lived.  She has the power to alter minds as well.  Tho shes still young to you and growing old and live longer then most races, she has altered your minds to ensure her secret remains hidden.  Shes done quite well in raising you tho.  Very well indeed."

[Alexia]

"Thats not what captain smith tells me.  According to him you have re-occuring nightmares in your sleep and wakes him up."

[Weasly Cook]

Cook only looked at the Colonel, "That was what the guard on duty said as well..." He looked down at Captain Smith. "I never did figure out why you give people such a hard time, I mean, you never gave me that hard of a time." Cook only shook his head and sat down at an empty table, he was hoping that the Admiral didn't notice his sudden dissapearance or something.

[Kassie]

"When do you expect to hear back about your position?" she asked as she went to serve some of the Cadets who came bye for a quick drink to knock off the edge.

[Lois]

"I remember a quote, 'Those who forget history is due to repeat themselves,'" he said, smilling at they're conversation. He never expected himselve to be seated with a Admiral and speaking casually.

[Simon Rajnus]

"You dont know when to shut up do you?.  Hypothetical, the Col. has earned the respect of everyone on this station and thensome.  YOU! are the problem.  You dont know when to be quiet.  You were insisting on a confrontation with him and now your doing it with me.  It wont work, Lt.  Because I am your superior officer, you continue to open your trap and ill have you thrown in the brig for insubordination.  Is that clear!" Simon stated in a irritable tone.

"On the subject of you being a Lt. that means squat!.  That just means that some superior thought you should raise in rank thats it!.  That rank pip means you have to lead by example.  Your not doing that which will lead to many problems.  Respect is earned, you dont get respect just because you gained a rank.  Only time you EVER!! expect respect is when your a Captain and above.  God forbid you ever reach the rank of Captain because right now, you dont deserve anything.  Especially that rank increase." Simon scolded the unfortunate lt.

[Weasly Cook]

Commander Cook nodded his head. "I know that... but there is a difference between seeing and knowing... and the laws are clear. I know you are advance... but I cannot risk it. I have a Cat to look after, and I do not think any others could keep as good care of him as I do." He was confused... and rather scared about this... he knew the Prime Directive... and he knew Alf had seen the stuff in action, but he was not space faring... and they were clear about that... but he was drawing a blank on what about races that do not wish to leave their planet but had advanced technology... he was trying to remember that part.

[Doctor Who]

The Doctor looked troubled,

"No, no, *Smiles* not that type of wish, I'm not a Djinni. I know that humans have finally evolved beyond their extreme selfishness,  of that I am proud.
Think of it more as a gift, or an exchange of ideals and culture. Not because you sat down to talk with me, but to show trust, perhaps a tour of my ship."

[Taurik]

"Thank you, Doctor. I will be sure to inform Starfleet of the Council's sentiment. I shall have the Radiant Thunder transferred to Starbase Avalon immediately for inspection and assignment."

(OFF: I assume it is small enough to fit into a shuttlebay?)

[Balkazar]

<Leaning back near a corner table listening to the pranks that their now dead friends have done and laughed over it.  Balkazar noticed a woman come into the bar and he just sat their staring at her for a moment then returned his attention to the marines>

"Go talk to her." said a voice telepathically to Balkazar.

"Oh shut up, you dont know what your talking about." Balkazar told his symbiote telepathically.

"Oh really, I dont? ive been around for centuries and you think I dont know when a species is roused a little bit?" said the voice telepathically to Balkazar.

"Shhh." was all Balkazar telepathically said to his symbiote as he took a big swig of his drink and laughed a little bit as he watched several more marines come in and join them.

[Jarron]

*Jarron smiles*

"You think? Well I'm not sure...I can be pretty annoying in the dark."

[Kelli Lauren]

"Yeah, I know. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure isolation's such a bad thing."

[Balkazar]

*Balkazar entered Celtic corner followed by 200 marines with wounds still from there failed mission on the heraani station*

"Bartender drinks for every marine here."

*When the drinks were passed around Balkazar went to stand by the table the table he would sit at, but before he sat he made a speech to his men*

"Remember the fight on the heraani station may have been a failure and a lost cause, but its never a lost cause when fighting for whats right and true.  We fight for justice, NOW!! let us drink to honor the dead and what they died for, we drink to remember the dead of past ages and we drink to all those who have fallen in the fight against the heraani.  We drink today because it may be our last because the fight against the heraani will not end till they are all dead and its our job to safeguard the helpless and the defenseless at the cost of our own lives if god so chooses to take us.  But lets drink to remember the dead of the past and all those who have died for if we fail against the Heraani incursion there deaths will be for nothing, and there deaths would be invein."

"Let us have a moment of silence and live our lives well for thats what our brothers would have wanted us to do, not to think about there deaths but to learn from them.  Some very dear marines have fallen for what they believed in because thats our job as marines.  Now let us bow our heads in a moment of silence for the dead." Balkazar said inspiring his men while thinking of all those marines who have died on that station.

*Balkazar and his men then bowed all there heads for a minute, after the they finished Balkazar took his drink and sat down next to a few of the younger recruits who saw there first action on that station*

*Noticing Admiral Julian looking over at them, Balkazar ignored him and sat around talking with his younger marines about life, and anything else the conversation lead too*
