"Relaxing isnt in our vocabulary.  We are a rapid response team, we go where ever the fight is, it doesnt matter if its on a planet with no air, a planet with heat so extreme it kills most or cold enough to freeze most, or temperate planets with trees and the like.  We go where High command sends us." was all Balkazar said before emptying his tankard and ordering another.

Jarret came into the pub and sat down wearily. He saw reed and beckoned him over. "would you like a drink? I can use one by now"

"We're quite content here, HERMES. Thank you. You can tell the dwellers of that new store that such a place does not meet my approval, not that it matters."

[Balkazar]

*as Kitana and Balkazar walk to a table Balkazar ushers Kitana to the table*

This ones fine......*pulls the chair out to allow Kitana to sit then he sits himself on the oposite side*

Waiter Ill have a water.....and yourself Kitana ?

*then Balkazar notices Lurado and Malia sitting at the bar and gets a Displeasurable look on his face balkazar turns around and gives his attention to Kitana*

So......How long have you been on the station Kitana ?

"A doctor? Oh no no... not in the state I'm in right now."
*Enoch smiles and drinks from his pint.*
"So you sure you don't want to drink anything from me? I'll even make an exception and let you drink something non-alcoholic, if you insist! "Hmmmm, grew up on Earth, got into tons of trouble of my own, some good, some bad.  Was hired as a body guard once or twice, joined starfleet as a full security officer on board the USS Skytoucher before it was destroyed a few years back.  Then I was offered the position of second in command of the marines on Dantor and been there ever sense.  If I had to choose between security on a ship and battle on the ground, I think I would choose Marines.  More fun, better weapons to play with, you actually have the chance every now and then to protect this station from hostile attack, as well as blow things up http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> as well as the danger, being a marine is possible more dangerous then on a Starship, but I must say that sometimes every now and then you can save the damsel in distress." he said smiling at that last sentence remembering his previous mission.

So what sort of experience do you have? What made you want to join Starfleet? Was it because of your mother that you joined?"

<Smiles at the marines sitting around the table and shook his head at Tara's comment>

"Thank you, Ensigns and Commander.  Im sure that the fallen would be honored.  Though Commander.  Im wondering, Are you drunk?.  Have you had WAY! to much blood wine?" he said laughing at Tara while at the same time staring at the floor, then looking up part way waiting for her response.

"You see, Ensigns.  Every time we return from a battle or a mission where we will most likely die.  We like to come in here, lay back and honor the dead of past battles.  It doesnt matter if they took place on earth or on Chronus or on Vulcan.  We honor the dead who sacrificed there lives to give us the day that we live in now.  Besides, in here we get to be off duty till something else comes up wether it be invasion of avalon station or protection of some lab on another world.  You really wont understand much till you survive your first actual conflict.  Each conflict hardens you into a capable combat marine or in some cases though rare, Security officers.  When you taste your first real fight thats when it gets decided.  Wether your meant for starfleet or your meant as a marine or a civilian.  Very few can stand the rigors of such dedication that Starfleet demands from its officers.  Know what I mean?" Balkazar said as he got his mug refilled.

[Lilque]

~She feels some withdrawn feelings from Balkazar and wonders if he is a telepath. Perhaps the way to get into his mind is to speak directly to it. ~

Do you ever have fun dear sir? And if not maybe you should try getting away from your Marines while all is secure. She asked telepathically

*with that noted she looked him in the eye and smiled*

"Perhaps you would like to take walk with me Dear Sir?"

[Malcom Reed]

Reed sits by Jarret not looking at him.

"Anything new Major"

[Jarron]

*Jarron notices the loud voice of one of the customers*

"Please, please calm down. You make my other customers feel unsafe...what has happened? Another store on Avalon is not that bad is it?"

*Jarron sits down besides the woman and faces her*

"Maybe a drink on the house would calm you?"

[Kitana]

**Balkazar and Kitana walk in together and choose a small table for two**

[Weasly Cook]

Cook looked at Enoch... "Oh, in that case... I would enjoy a nice Root Beer float... it was my fathers favorite surprise for us... it is Root Beer, a type of soda pop, with Ice Cream... the best is a vanila scoop in it."

Cook blinked... "Wait, she was an elite guard? That... is interesting indeed. Yep, she is still alive and well, but.... wait, long life? Great... that is indeed going to be hard to explain later in my life... but at he moment.. I don't have to worry about that."

Cook was enjoying this, it seemed like he was learning more about what he was needing to know or something. He felt that he was learning more about his mother then ever before. "So... that would explian also why she was always taking us on some kind of trip durring the summer... I traveled all over Earth and Mars... she was exploring, just as much as I was."

Cook rememered how his father said that all he had to do was find one, and he would find the other, and both of you would be leaning over some creature or artifact or something discusssing what it was or something. Cook remembering this happy memory laughed silently but visable.

Captain Smith only purred happy to see Cook not living one of his nightmares.

[Apodae Swift]

"Not much to tell." Swift said simply, that was the truth of the matter. "I grew up on starships, ones designated for exploration. My mother was second in command of the USS Korolev and then was granted a command aboard the USS Farsight then transferred to the USS Platone. I have basically just been on those ships, a true ship brat. Safe to say that being on board those ships is what made me want to join Starfleet. The excitement, I have experienced boarding parties, weird alien threats, I was held ransom against my mother five times, and I even got to go on an away mission once. I honestly can't think of a better life." Swift took a sip of his drink, there were more parts of his past, but they were things hidden away, things he wouldn't tell a soul. "What about you sir?"

[Voyager]

*Dolan nods slowly, a little unsure of the Colonel's words*

"I think so Colonel.  And no thanks, I don't think I want another mug of beer, I'm feeling a little dizzy right now.  I'd rather have a cup of water right now, hopefully that will help."

[Balkazar]

<Balkazar quickly got up and had a look of despair on his face as he quickly left the Celtic Corner, not before looking at the marines and it was obvious to only them what was really going on>

<Then another marine who seems more outspoken came up to Lilque before she could move to follow, the marine quickly sat her down before she could move>
