"My apologies, Commander.  Defusing a situation between a Marine Col. and a starfleet officer is tedious and I meant no offense going over your head with your subordinate.  I taught him in the academy and I know how insubordinate he can get, covering his true intentions with sly talk.  Though sense hes out of my hair you can see why my hair is going grey." Simon whispered to Tara out in the hallway.

"I agree Lt. Swift and Col. Balkazar were being childish.  Im starting to think they were both cut from the same cloth." Simon said hoping he was wrong.

Commander Cook walked up to Alf, and then he realized something, maybe the Captain was not joking at all. He then cleared his throat and looked at Alf. "Sir, I would appreciate it if you tried not to eat the Captain Again... on another note." he got down and game the creature a salute. "It is good to see you again... how have you been on reclaiming part of the planet?" He smiled and waited to see if Alf would recognize him at all.

He turned to answer the officer. "He is a new officer aboard the Iroquois... he is our tactical officer."

*Suddenly, over the comm system, Dolan's voice was heard in the room.*

==^==Dolan to Celtic Corner.  I'm just assuming most of the people on the station are here celebrating.  I want to invite anyone who wants to come to join me at my holoprogram.  It is an amazing story about if the Federation lost the Dominion War.  If anyone wants to join, please come to the holodecks, I think we could have a couple of the holodecks hooked up together so we could be on different ships in the program but still connected to the same program.  So if anyone wants to join me, please come.  If you can't, you can play with it on your own time.  Dolan out.==^==

Sarpedon looked around, slightly stunned. He had never seen anything like it before. It looked grown, yet made with advanced technology at the same time. It looked old, and yet at the same time futuristic. It was certainly the oddest ship he had been on.

"Erm, can I have a look at your Vortex Drive? I've always been a pilot first, so that sounds like a.....logical place to go as a Vulcan would put it." he said, smiling slightly.
