ah, then you won't have to go through it Malcolm. Your avatar threw me off. But to take the counselor position, the rank of Captain wouldn't do either. You had the rank of Captain formerly, perhaps Lieutenant Commander?

I believe a position in the JAG department on SS Avalon is open. However it is simular to the Diplomacy positions. When it has something to do, it is active. But most of the time I think it can be a bland position to hold.
Although it is up to you, my advice if you do really want JAG, would be to have a second character perhaps to fill another position. I do know a JAG situation might be coming up now, but after it there may not be a use for a while.

Malia, The USS Lothlorien does need a CEO.  However, youll keep the rank of LT. sense we have WAY! to many Lt. Cmdrs and such.  But you will be the CEO of the Lothlorien with the rank of Lt.

*laughs* It's not letting me post using my new character (Aariya Sayuri) so I had to drag out an old, rusty, 'retired' commodore. I must admit, though.. I have missed her. But that's beside the point!

Position: Diplomatic, though this character has a background in psychology/sociology as well, and could easily work that field.
