Captain Sanchez and his senior officers walk into the bar, choose the largest table with enough space to accomodate everyone, and sit down.

"Last time I was around here, shortly before I became captain of the USS Evolution, the cook here gave me some alcohol mixture that surely wasn't meant for humans to endure. Perhaps this time I'll be safe, and take some Kanar."

"Magnificent stories, you say? Oh, I can tell you quite a few!
Have you all ever heard of the magnificent story of an ancient prophet called Merlin? Aye, you probably know him from the Earth legends of one King Arthur, but Merlin was a young boy once too!
His father was the famed High King Ambrosius, brother of Uther, and uncle of Arthur. But when Ambrosius was young, Custennin, his own father, was killed by his own adviser, called Vortigern, who then took the crown for himself. Needless to say, that any hear of Custennin was a threat to Vortigern's throne, and thus he put a price on their head. Uther and Ambrosius had to flee Britain, but before doing so, Ambrosius risked his life to spend one more night with his beloved, a princess from Dyfed - south Wales - who then conceived a child. This child would be Merlin. When she gave birth to the child, everyone wondered who the father would be. But if she told the real fathes was Ambrosius, on who's head stood a price by Vortigern, surely the child would be killed by this upsurper king as well! So she said she was raped by an evil spirit, and this was the child. And thus, the child became to be known as a "fatherless child", or a "child without mortal father".
It was years later, when Merlin started growing to adult, that Vortigern decided to build himself a fort on top of a hill. But whatever he did, every day the walls were built, and every night the building collapsed! He tried again and again, but no wall would survive the night! Vortigern asked advice from his councellors, who then claimed that evil spirits were in the vicinity, causing this, and only the offering of a fatherless child would avert them. Now, it happened to be that Merlin was known to be a fatherless child, and he also happened to be available for offering.
But Merlin had grown smarter than that. He told Vortigern not to pay heed to his stupid advisors, because killing him would not end this problem. In fact, he explained Vortigern the real reason: there was a subterrean pool under the hill, making the foundations of his fort unstable and weak. Vortigern, wary at first and thinking the boy wanted to escape his own death with lies, ordered his men to dig at the foot of the hill. And behold! There came water out of the ground! Merlin had been right, and his life was spared. And even now, this hill can still be found in the landscape of north Wales, a hill called Dinas Emrys!"

Drop by, you may find something you never knew you wanted, and remember... if we don't have it, surely we can find someone who does!
