Commander Taurik, Lt Commander Bryan Hannah,Lt Commander Keilah,  Lt Commander Daniel Reeves, Lt Commander Zephram Lagos, Lieutenant Dalon, Lieutenant JG Yugiman and Lieutenant Chrisitine Woods. I all congratulate you with the Starfleet Cross, and as I said before you all have shown your courage in battle and other difficult circumstances."

*Montrell looks at the Lieutenant who is holding all the boxes*

"Lieutenant would you please hand out the other boxes to the right person"

Lieutenant: "Yes sir"

*The Lieutenant handed out all eight remaining boxes*

I've never been in the celtic corner, in fact, I barely got to see this station when I was transferred to the Avalon division from earth. But this is a nice place by the look of it. I was placed here just out of the academy, so you may not know, I am only 22 years old and the Evolution is the first ship I have served on. How about you? Taurik? Yugiman? Captain? Everyone?

*Admiral Montrell stands in a corner of Celtic Corner and watches, how the security personel take Lt Commander Taurik to the Brig*

*Watches the security team from the bar and wonders*
"an arrest, time to check jag and see whats going on"
*sculls the rest of his absinthe and stands up*
"Thanks for the drink Ayala, see you"
*Walks out and back to Sickbay*

Captain Sanchez enters Celtic Corner once more, with the others: Nocturnus, Montrel, and ... Taurik.

"People, can I all have your attention please? Lieutenant Commander Taurik has been found guilty, and will now be sentenced by me. Silence please, everyone."

[Randall Sanchez]

"Thank you for your attention, everyone. Now let's get at the matters at hand. Now, Mr. Taurik, let me finally explain all the matters to you.
You were accused by admirals Montrell and Nocturnus, for reasons you did not fully understand. Neither did I, until I read the little note on the padd they gave me. And though it was but a small note, it made all things clear to me.
Now, all of you remember -not only the Evolution crew, but the Sphinx crew as well- what Taurik has done on this last away mission, when we encountered the Borg! He met them head on! He faced them without fear! AND HE GOT HIMSELF ASSIMILATED FOR A MOMENT! Can you imagine that? My tactical/security officer actually got himself assimilated!
And then I ask myself the question: if he had not done that, how many other people would have been assimilated instead? Or killed?"

Sanchez turns to Taurik and takes a little box out of his pocket.

"Mr. Taurik, hear me in the company of all these other crewmembers. You are UNWORTHY of your rank as lieutenant commander! The performance you did during the Borg attack, are NOT that of a full responsible lieutenant commander!
No, what you did, was different. MUCH different. You took the responsibility to you, and acted accordingly, to that of someone of a rank of COMMANDER!"

Sanchez opens the little box, and a small, yellow shining pips becomes visible to Taurik, and Sanchez turns around for the rest to see as well.

"Mr. Taurik, I hereby promote you to the rank of full Commander, because you have proven worthy of it, as well as responsible."

He takes the pip out, and places it on Taurik's collar himself.

"Congratulations, Commander Taurik, Chief Tactical/Security of the famed U.S.S. Evolution. May your deeds echo in the future, and your nam echo in eternity!"

Then, while he places the pip on Taurik's collar, he gets closer and whispers: "this all ways Admiral Nocturnus' and Montrell's idea, at first I had no clue myself. But admit, it's a pleasant surprise - even for a Vulcan."

Sanchez smiles and raises his hand in the Vulcan greeting to Taurik.

"And now, everyone have a drink to the Evolution's most competent Chief Tactical/Security! We have something to celebrate!"

"Hello everyone. I heard there was going to be a contest of some kind down here, and I was hoping you didnt mind if I participated?"
