*gets up outta the bed after getting a few hours of shut eye and gets up as skon enters the sick bay....*

*does a lazy salute to capt. skon*

*looks at the weird thingy*

Uhhhhh *points to the object*.......What is THAT!?........is that the thing you had in your pocket?....Shouldnt it be behind a level 10 force field atleast ? should it become active and a danger to everyone and everything ?.............And it could be a tracking device of some sorts too,.......

[Doctor]

The Doctor looks askance at the way his Sickbay has been invaded by so many people who don't need his professional attentions.  He is unused to being so crowded by well people.

"I'm all for forcefields and the like, you understand, but perhaps I could've just walked it down to Engineering in my pocket?  I really don't see the need for all this fuss."

"Welcome back, Mr. Russo.  We have work to do."  The Doctor hands Wycliffe to his new medical assistant.  "I trust you know how to shave a cat?"

The Doctor makes his rounds.

Doctor, I am assembling an away team, and we will shortly be visiting you. I would like you to accompany us on the mission, if you can. If not, please assign another medical officer to the team.

"I will be glad to report to the Bridge for a briefing, Commander Skon.  Perhaps you can tell me along the way what I am being briefed on?"

(The Doctor follows Commander Skon out the door to a turbolift, pausing long enough to grab a medikit and medical tricorder from a rack near the Sickbay door.)

Understood, Doctor. I will have Lt. FredCesa submit his report to you immediately. Lt. Rhade is most welcome to join the away team. He brings our number up to eight, which was Gul Marcet's limit for this mission. Have him report to the transporter room.

** I am evaluating the Ensign and inspecting his injuries and controlling the Bleeding****

"Doc, nice to see that you've made it.  This poor ensign is badly hurt, hey may have a concussion.  I am fairly proficient in medical if you need any assistance doc.  We can set up a med station, since I am assuming, we'll have quite a few casualties.  So I guess Doc,  I am reporting in as a medical assistant for you."

[Balkazar]

*Balkazar, varnek, ((HOPEFULLY! capt and skon))...Materialize from no where.....*

*Nods to teh doctor*

Tend to Varnek....Once hes able to talk let me or the commander know.....We have questions for him.....

*Balkazar to security send 2 more guards down to sick bay*

*Few minutes later 2 xtra guards show up and Balkazar start so ttell them to stand guard on him*....

Doctor ill be back soon....I need to check on our other guests...

*Balkazar exits the sickbay and heads to the brig*

[Varnek]

Varnek is lying on a sickbay bed. His wounds are not serious, but his mind is in turmoil.

All of his life, he has been a servant of the Loxian government. He hates the Loxian exiles. He wants to kill them. They are renegades. They are evil.

But...since he was sent among them, he has seen many things...some of them seem to be miracles. He can't understand. Burma...their messiah...has returned. IT CANNOT BE.

He awakens, barely, and grabs at the security guard who stands beside his bed. Sweat pours down his face.

Tell them...it doesn't matter where you take us....Avalon...Vulcan...Earth...they will come...kill us...attack...never surrender...and then they will come here and kill the mes...Burma...destroy the renegades...cannot stop them...

Varnek passes out again

Hmm...It seems to be Loxian technology...perhaps a communication device. that tapped into our computers...that could account for how our shields were lowered.

Regardless, Mr. Balkazar is correct. It should be held in stasis until we can determine what -- exactly -- it is. I have asked Mr. Black to join us. Perhaps he can shed some light on this subject.

*sees the promotion pips*

*salutes Capt Skon....Thank you sir!

*takes the device from the doctor and put it on one of the tables in sickbay....*taps his comm badge and orders to have a level 10 force field put up around the strange object*

The Doctor returns to a virtualy empty Sickbay.  Even Wycliff the cat has disappeared.

"Just my luck- I can't find Celtic Corner.  I was able to access the potted history and some pics of it, but for the life of me I can't find it anywhere... I guess I'll just work on my files."

*Sigh*
