Mission 10: A flight to D.A Space

[Hodson]

* Incoming transmission *

This is Cadet/Cptn Zack Hodson in command of the U.S.S. Lhasa do you need assistance? We received a disstress call from you and thought that we would check it out.

[Malia]

OFF:  I'm here as well just nothing to say.

[FredLurado]

As the ship engaged warp for the DA Space Lurado beckoned the first officer to his chair.
"Yes, we are assigned a diplomatic mission. The conflict among some of the Delta Alliance species has ended, we are to go to one of thier homeworlds to revive relations between the federation and they. On the side, we need to keep an eye open to see if this conflict has in any way disrupted thier way of life. It should be an interesting task, I am eager myself to enter DA space. I have never before had that opportunity on the little ships I come from".

[Rasmain]

*Commander Rasmain enters the conference room and nods to the Captain and officers that were already present. He sits down and awaits the captain's briefing*

[Comm One]

*Comm One Enters the room and adresses Captain Lurado.*

"Captain Lurado, I am sorry to announce that upon us entering DA space I will be heading back to my ship. My  officer exchange with Starfleet has long since expired and I must return to duty. It has most certaintly been a most informing and fruitful experiance serving with you all."

[Rasmain]

*Rasmain nods to the Captain*

"Understood Sir, so we will not cross the border before we have done thorough sensor sweeps of the area and ofcourse if noone answers our hails."

*He's silent for a second*

"Let's then hope that our hosts are ready at the gate, which would make it a lot easier"

[Montrell]

OFF: I don't know what has happened here, but I would like to get this mission started again. Assume that Tash granted you permission into D.A Space and continue to the first catapult. Tash will respond soon, but for now continue without his replying post.

[Montrell]

OFF: I Believe you responded to an old Distress Call http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>, The Skytoucher is in fine condition.

OFF: Commander Rasmain, I've been informed that Captain Lurado isn't able to post for a while. Please try to continue this mission again as Acting CO. When Captain Lurado comes back again he will ofcourse assume Command again.
I hope the other crewmembers are still around so you can all continue further into Delta Alliance Space.

[Munro]

*Munro entered and took a seat next to the Captain.*

"The crew appears in top form Captain and seem very motivated."

OFF: Oh I'm here too though last couple times I checked the site wasnt workin.

"On the record, the word 'spy' does not exist on this mission. The only people on this ship who will make a single note and observation on these peoples after effects from the war will be myself, Commander Rasmain, and I will want input from Counselor  Munro on thier behavior patterns. As you can see, there is plenty to be done on this assignment. We are all now diplomats, trained or not we must not cause an alarm among the DA representitives. The consequences of a bad move on our part are do dangerous to delve into.."
He paused as Comm One spoke.
"It will be a bittersweet parting, On one part it is wonderful to see you going home where you might be more happy, on the other we end a far to short time of learning and friendship"

[FredLurado]

He nods as Rasmain finishes his briefing.
"Yes, I am glad you mentioned the catapolts Commander. I had been so focused on what we  were told would happen, I had not considered that something might not go as planned. We should indeed use the catapolts whenever possible as directed in thier regulations. But: I will be very alarmed should we not be greeted. That is the first step, do things begin as they were supposed to. We should begin scanning for any ships long range, and contact them as soon as we can to find out the status".

[FredLurado]

He took a seat and looked towards the helmsman.
"Helm, set a course for the nearest Space Catapult. Did any stations get scans or data of the ship they were in? I assume..and hope..that they had no weapons we should be alarmed of?".

[Hodson]

Very well Sir sorry to bother you.

[Rasmain]

*Rasmain nods to the Captain*

"I see, well Captain it seems that we have a long flight ahead of us. So if you don't mind, I wanted to rest and unpack and after that start my rounds for a "ship wide status report""
