'Valory stopped behind a huge boulder and looked to where the ensign pointed.  She thought a moment'

Ok but we are going to have to come at it from two sides and they cant see us coming.  One person stay and provide cover fire.  Everyone ready?

Valory looked up, Commander Lauren seemed to be giving her an exasperated look.  She just shrugged and closed her eyes for a minute.

[Randall Sanchez]

*Then the hail from the Rivendell comes in, and Sanchez hurries to the nearest com-panel to hear the voice of Taurik.*

Taurik, my good friend, you have once again come in time to save the day, I owe you my live many times over, and that of countless others on my ship! I think your sensors can tell how badly we are beaten, and that a Heraan ship is approaching, perhaps because they have detected your presence here. Several away teams and marines are down on the planet still, and we have no way to evacuate them at this moment.

Mark beamed up aboard the ship and entered the bridge, he noticed Commander Harf was already on the bridge. He quickly took his position at tactical and awaited for the others to return

[Kelli Lauren]

Kelli caught the nervousness in Mark's glance. She gave a little smile, hoping to be subtle but relaxing. "Sounds good," she said. Then, she looked back at the table, seemingly horrified. "Um, I just realized I don't have a range or an oven."

After a moment, she just laughed. "I told you I was bad at this! Wanna just grab something to eat in the mess hall, and we'll find something to do?"

[Voyager]

Dolan thought it was strange for someone to have their own personal shuttlecraft, but ignored his feelings.  He said, "It seems the - Kelata, did you call it - has docked to an alien vessel that is in the station.  They seems to be going somewhere.  Since life support on the station has been restored, could we have the civilians that boarded get back on the station?  Or should we let them stay until we are sure that going back won't be a threat?  Dolan hoped this would end soon...he really wanted to get back to making his experimental phaser bank.  He double checked that the designs were still inside his suitcase, which they were, and the one inside his uniform, which was there also.

Dolan then noticed something unusual.  "Commander," he called out, "Maybe we should get moving...there seems to be an anomaly expanding near the station.  That's strange...sensors can't identify it.  More reason to get moving.  It could be extremely dangerous and we have passengers on board."

[Spock]

"I see, as far as we know, Tulak.  No one is onboard that shouldnt be here.  Im sure if there were indeed someone on board Master Lugedon would be aware of it sense he is more then capable of sensing thoughts sense hes well over what ? 2,000 years old?"

[Alexia]

<At her console>

"Im ok.  Just went to make sure my son wasnt getting into to much trouble is all.  So are you enjoying your time here?" she inquired to Lois.

[Alexia]

"So doctor what is missing? im unsure as to what you would want from me?.  However, if you wish to have more indepth answers then I will tell you and you alone and no other.  Ok?" she asked Doctor Bashir.

[Lois]

OOC: Best ensign eh? I've only been on the ship for a few hours lol.

[Valory]

'Valory was nearing the next turret, hopingsome form of backup would show up.  She was wondering where that ensign was.therewas little time for thinking however, two aliens were mere feet in front of her, blocking Valory's way to the turret.'

[Taurik]

"Move your ship to a safe distance," Taurik said. "There is a second hostile vessel in the area, and we are engaging accordingly."

There was then a short pause. "It is agreeable to see you uninjured."

[Kelli Lauren]

"Not the best way to impress a Lieutenant of the Klingon Defense Forces, Ensign," Kelli said with a smirk. "Alright, keep that rifle ready, though."

Commander Lauren grabbed her marine-issue flip-out communicator. "This is Lieutenant Commander Lauren of the starship Evolution. We are in the midst of an assault on a Heraani fortress. We're at 36° north by 124° west. Our numbers are reduced, we could use any assistance necessary, over."

Suddenly, a Heraani sniper ducked out just a little too far, and caught Kelli's eye. She raised her disruptor pistol and fired a single blast, which intentionally crumbled the wall he was in cover behind. A second blast hit the imposing creature square in the chest, and his eyes widened as he noticed his body shields sizzle away. A third follow-up blast promptly vaporized the alien's head and upper torso, leaving the rest to fall, smoldering on the ground.

(OFF: I would assume assault forces use the flip-phone communicators. A commbadge might fall off in a tustle, after all.)
