Mission 2: "A Taste of Your Own Medicine"

[Kelli Lauren]

"Aye, Commander," Kelli responded, pointing to a marine. "Sergeant, I need a gunner. Hop on the phaser cannon."

Kelli climbed into the driver's seat on the Puma, and watched as a marine jumped up in to the truck's box and manned the phase repeater cannon. She pressed her foot onto the accelerator pedal and the truck took off toward the turret manned by Lieutenant Valory.

[Randall Sanchez]

"I'm not sure about the status of our warp engines at this moment. Hold on."
*He turns around to face Spock.*
"What's the status of the warp drive?"

[Morga Harf]

"Thank you Cadet Beta, You have given me something very useful to find more information."

Turing toward Legudon who had followed me down to the lower area,
"So Legudon, what can you add to this converstion, anything would be of use to the Federation especially if we are to use this. I know starfleet would be interested in it if it is really that powerful."

[T'lana]

"USS Evolution, this is Lieutenant Commander T'lana, Mr. Sarpedon has discovered an what appears to be an Interdimensional Portal, of which we are investigating. Be advised that there is another Gallifreyan vessel heading towards the planet, no attempt at communication has been made. We will remain here and investigate the Portal, which has remained open."

[Durandal]

"Initiating disengagement procedures."

The ship fired up it's thrusters, the umbilical decoupled and retracted, and the Evolution thrusted away from the internal docking ring slightly.

"I'm setting a course for a medium orbit of Dantor. We'll begin evacuation to the surface as soon as we are in transporter range."

Durandal hailed the automated docking gates, but realized that the power outage would stop the doors from responding. "Sir," the omnipresent AI stated, "The docking gates are sealed. I can, ahem... open... them with a pair of photon torpedoes, but that would take quite a while to repair."

OOC: I'm sorry, but what counts as a senior staff? I've seen most of the star trek series but I never really got it..

Lt. Nofftz:
I was the one that yelled. Someone was trying to probe my mind and get in contact with the Master. I have my mind blocked, but whomever it is, they are in major distress. Captain, are there any other telepaths on the ship besides Master and myself? If so, that might explain what is going on.

"This is a simulation, Commander.  If this was truely a real situation I would have sensed his thoughts." she told the Commander.

"All you need to know is that im here to raise my son and train him to use his gifts in a mature manner.  So if you find things flying, try to keep it to yourself.  Im unsure how this crew would react if they knew my son is a telepath and a telekinetic.  I will bring my son by for a check up later." she said as she left the room and headed for Legudons quarters.

*Several minutes passed as Alexia soon found his quarters and waited to be admitted after chiming in*

[Legudon]

Legudon heard the announcement from the tactical officer and began to walk swiftly toward the turbolift. En route, he heard the query from his new apprentice. "We are attacking the fortress on the planet's surface," he responded. "Likely, we are attacking the major targets from orbit, such as heavy defense turrets or emplacements."

[Durandal]

"Captain, transporters are offline. We will have to send the Marines down in the dropships they have provided us."

[Spock]

"I meant to ask, what do you think would cause the transporters from being disabled?, I know what could cause it but I want you to figure it out.  While your doing that, go over and get 2 tool kits we are going to transporter room 1." Spock told Oak's.

[Valory]

'Pass a cup this way.'  Valory wondered how naive he really was.

[Alexia]

<Planet side>

<Alexia along with several other Gallifreyans saw several Heraani trying to sneak threw and attack the command center.  Quickly they reacted and charged the bunch, in a short time they were taken down just as they were withdrawing there Khala's they were beset by more of the heraani forces this time they were 30 strong>

[Randall Sanchez]

*Sanchez does not say anything for a moment... in dilemma of whether or not he should abandon the crew on the planet for now, or risk complete destruction. Then he speaks up again.*
"We are of no use to our comrades on the planet if we're dead, nor can we beam them to a ship that's destroyed, so we'll have no choice but to retreat and come back for them as soon as possible. Helm, get us out of here!"

[Spock]
