*Rasmain was at the other side of the cave, helping a group of marines fighting groups of metallic spiders that were trying to break their defenses. Suddenly the spiders broke off their attack and moved back, into the darkness*

"What was that?" *Rasmain asked one of the marines*

*Rasmain stood up and nods to the group, he walks over to Commander Balkazar and Major Keller*

*Rasmain then notices that Comm One and Ak are leaving the secured parameters*

I've figured it out Sir.  It's small bombs that spread the chemical out over a certain distance.  We dont need much because the spiders themselves will spread it.  It takes approxamitley 3 minutes for the acid to eat through the shell of the spiders.  Thats all the time we need for them to start spreading it.

*... After hearing the the genrals voice over the radio Keller furiously gets the hand unit and speaks...*

See that creature ?.........Well We are here to protect her since we think she has some tie to this planet.......So while shes here we need to stop other people from wanting to walk up and touch her........which will in turn make her go and hurt them and herself........get it ?

"Well commander, my men and I have been on this planet since the first base was built. When it was first destroyed we escaped and built a base far from Dantor Base. When the metalic spiders statred to arrise survivors that esaped the spiders were all over the place and we made it our responsibility to save all that we could. Your ship probly did not pick us up becuase the planet emmits what is called a black wave which can sometimes screw up a ships systems. The wave is impossible to detect and it is invisible to the naked eye. It moves so fast you won't know what hit you until your ships systems start to malfunction. The are even stronger in the famous in the Van'Gu Clusters but we are not here for a science lesson. We picked up your life signs and we thought you were survivors from the base reconstruction teams. So we rushed down here to rescue but as it seems you do not need rescueing. When was the last time you contacted your ship? My men need immediat evacuation off this planet."

*...He awaits a reply...*

*Comm One turns to Keller.*
"I will remain at the frontlines to help you guard the base, sir. Keep the alien safe inside."

I have been given news that the Marines hold has fallen, and our lines are pulling back. The Skytoucher has fired its weapons on the spiders origin, but it may not do good for to long"

I think I should have everything we need as long as we stay alive long enough to contruct them and use them.

OCC: Mr. Raynor, the Reliance marines will be beaming down. Intelligence wants you and your marines for something I have no idea for and don't want to know. That is all I know for now.

OCC: Well basicly we have been pinned down here for awhile beaing attacked by a never ending source of metallic spiders, the navy boys founnd a way to kill them all off with some chemical bomb and now they are basicly all dead.

*Balkazar motions for 2 Lt. and tells them to take point about 5 feet ahead of everyone else........Then the rest will follow......*

*the away team then starts to move with EVERYONE! down the corridor leading deeper into the planet*
