"That doesnt matter if this was an ACTUAL! combat.  In our line of work, you have to understand that no matter what you do there is always a chance of casualties no matter if you charge in, or do a surprise attack, or divide your attacks, if you had a full security team with you, WHICH! you should have had in the begining, you could have sent a man with the cadet to watch his back.  But the sooner you understand that there is always casualties or a risk of casualties the better off you will be.  Remember on Avalon when you took part in destroying the foothold on the prominade we lost quite a few good officers, they knew they would die or get hurt but its our job to minimize that as much as possible and still accept the fact that they will get hurt or get killed even."

OFF: To all those active and presently participating in this attack: I've been unable to post due to other things requiring my attention. I am renouncing my position as CO temporarily to Admiral Parker as I remain occupied. To fit my situation into this storyline, I'll proceed as such...

*Sullivan gazes with horror as the horde of energy-absorbing creatures continue to force down on the base's exterior. The impact of the force causes a massive beam, originally designed to support the ceilings from caving in, to loosen, but hold by a thread. As a group of the station's senior officer's collect to receive their orders from him, Parker contacts SS Avalon. Just as the officers are sent to their stations, the base is struck by another sweep of the swarm. Through all of the commotion and deafening clamors, he doesn't notice the large beam slowly tilt in his direction.*

Sarah Parker: "Oh God almighty...Sully! Help him out of there, Now! Push it off, push it off!"

Dr. Law, Admiral Sullivan has just been crushed. He seems to be alive, but unconcious. From what I can see, His leg is broken. Expect him in the infirmary.

*Whips around at the sound of an unfamiliar voice, seeing the stranger appear, then eleven others just like him.
