[Kawolsky]

"Thank you sir."

*Kawolsky turns to Scotty*

"Lets go to my office"

[Kawolsky]

*Kawolsky and Scotty are beamed into Engineering*

"14.85 seconds sir"  Kawolsky said smuggly

*The security team then comes running in*

"It's OK Crewman, it was just a practice"   Kawolsky said to the team leader

"Yes, sir"  he replied and left engineering

[Kawolsky]

*Kawolsky tuns to Scotty*

"Any ideas Cadet?"

[scotty]

" deactivating pulse, "

" computer seal off the engineering section, forcefield to maximum power "

[scotty]

* scotty removes some componentes, then nerviously presses a control switch, the bomb stops counting down *

[Kawolsky]

*Kawolsky wakes up and is slightly disoriantated*

"What's happening cadet?"

[scotty]

" its a failsafe, we've got 30 seconds, i trying to deactivat all circuits with a inverse tachion charge "

[scotty]

* scottys hands are moving frantically *

" almost done...........*10 seconds* activating charge! "

* the charge activates but nothing happens, the clock counts down, 8,7,6,5,4,3, it stops on 3 *

[scotty]

* scotty lets out a huge sigh, he wipes the sweat away from his forehead *

" i wouldn't want to do that again "

[Balkazar]

"Alright, Dismissed, Prepare yourselves for another test soon."

[scotty]

" we did shave some time off your request sir "

* scotty starts grinning form ear to ear *

[scotty]

* scotty puts his phaser away, he quickly pulls out his tricorder, starts scanning *

" its controls are protected by a  mathmatical encryption"

* he hits a few keys, hoping it will disarm the bomb *

" this should do it im entering a progressive mathamtical decryption key "

[Kawolsky]

"I'm detecting a build up of energy in the bomb. STOP THE PULSE NOW!"

*Suddenly, an energy discharge flung Kawolsky to the ground, knocking him unconciouss*

[Balkazar]

*Still looking on as Kawolsky took a discharge hit and is now unconcious still looks on as he looks at the time*

"Your down to 90 seconds."

[scotty]

"damn it, im going to try one more thing, an inverse tachion charge may disable all power "

* uses tricorder, activates charge *
