My first report:
I have taken postion of chief engineer on the ship in question, thier mission involved another expansion fleet division, concern for that is not mine to know of, but it needs to be on top of probally. One admiral has spoken of a big mission to come, he is holding info on that for now, I am hinting from him though.

I have faced some odd orders that are for petty crewman, the command seems to have left out very important matters considering thier current situation, which they boldly call 'possible war' with the dominion, telling me my statment that I should be working with the more important needs on the ship of the postion I was given as applied for, and which was denied. This war, however begun, is being as much as neglected, they take it serious, and tell me of its seriousness, yet have taken very bad measures.

There seems to now be a short situation, I report that since i have opened a info giving to an admiral there, after it was known and stated something about the FSS, thier JAG Officer now is getting into a talk with me, something I considered is an appeal to the FSS' investigation, if we have JAG representitives we may need them now, or hopefully I can maintain a 'clamp' over this fellow.

Keep him talking. Use his weakness. DO whatever it takes to get this mission. All of it. Sabotage the current mission if you must. Make sure it does not happen. Who knows what this could be.

Ok, Question more of this possible war. Find out what they intend to do. Get into any away missions. if you can.

I did as you ordered, and the admiral seems to know nothing, nothing about the current misson situation, I do not know now how they know it is 'war'. The dominon may want peace or so, the war may be what they start, not the dominon.

Specs: Your mission is to infiltrate G and join the ship we discussed. Get the highest position availible and keep a low profile. Only talk when neded, don't blow your cover. Ask questions to the senior officer you know who. Question things. Record the answers. And get a report on the conduct state of mind and further notes to me when the mission is over. It may be helpful in any case the g situation is in need of evidence. the FSS will have it ahead of time. Understood Major

I see this a possible threat to the Federations peace. The FSS can take such action, but i feel if they are only minorly delayed, and secretly, no one will be angered. More is to be gained from learning what is going on. I'll deal with the politics. Do what you must but mark your own limits, if you have question in something ask me.

I now would question wether the 2nd dominon war is as genuine as it seems, it is very odd for the dominion to come again all the way to the delta quadrant after surrendering in the first war.

No need. We are perfectly in our rights in investigate anything. I have an excert from the division report regulations that mentions this. And its our specified duty. I feel now that the case is closed that we learned more to help expansion than had we have found out later or let the effects hit expansion full. I think had we not have acted it would have been much much worse. Keep an eye on them. You know who as. I don't trust Gamma to be as close to expansion as the other divisions. I feel they leave things our to Vorak that i see. And as stated in the excert i have we have the job to go undercover to report anything senior admirality does not. And since they have no supervisor, as i think they need, we need to be the eyes and ears.
