OFF: In some ways it is good to know how the storyline is supposed to lead but in other ways it is bad. I have created this mission and have included a possible
ending, if for whatever reason you decide to change the mission to head in a different direction the ultimate goal should still try to be attained.

Mission:

The mission is that we have gathered information suggesting
their might be a secret base somewhere near the Romulan boarder.
This base could possibly be Romulan or it could be controlled by the Romulan Coalition.

The plan is that the FIS Blackfire goes out to look for this base. On their way the ship
stops off at the Khazara station, which I believe is still Romulan controlled,
after rendezvous with the station we request to borrow a cloaking device  *EDIT- Blackfire already has a cloak, we are picking up a Romulan Agent, Gri Tall*
( Since there was
discussion of a peace plan between the Romulan Star Empire and Starfleet)
Once we finish our stop at the station we head for the Romulan boarder.
The ship discovers the location of one of the Romulan Coalition's secret bases, keep in mind
that the ship is cloaked and cannot be detected. While still cloaked we secretly board the station
and try to infiltrate their organization. We will of course be surgically enhanced to look like Romulans.
We take key positions onboard the station and disable it.

The story line could include that the Coalition could have been away from the station leaving
a small crew onboard to defend it.
They leave this small crew aboard thinking that their position is safe from
discovery.

If this all goes accordingly we could have one less outpost threatening the Federation.

And if things don't go right the crew could be captured and held hostage. This in turn
could lead to further missions, but it is not for surtain yet.

Once the station has been disabled there might be the chance that we find notes leading
to the location of a planet not too far from the Romulan boarder. From here the RC can
launch offensive strikes against either the Romulans or against Khazara station and the Federation again.
They don't go for the planet yet because they need to secure their position. And perhaps return for more
reinforcements.

Because the Romulan Coalition recently faught a battle for Deep Space 12, all of their ships
are away from the station or have been destroyed by our Fleet at Omega.

If any new characters need to be created I will try to take care of that part, unless
anyone else from another division would like to volunteer their help.
Now, Admiral Vorak I won't ask you to help because I know that you are extremely busy, but if
another person from Avalon would like to help by being a Romulan Coalition officer
on the RC station that would be greatly appreciated but not required, thanks.

If you have any ideas for a mission for the FIS Blackfire please feel free to list them.

Keep in mind that we are secret service and we can go undercover to other division.

Vorak has previously permitted this to happen, so it is ok.

One thing though: Not to be whiny or anything, but the FSS and the Tal Shiar are kinda allied, we share info, intell, ship data and so on. the same with the klingons. Mr. Salen, a mission was created a while ago that died out, this mission was the same one that is still open now. The mission is posted in the mission planning forum at starfleet HQ. If you cannot access this forum, I will post it here tomorrow.

FSS Mission:

we need to assess the possible Romulan Coalition threat.  this would invovle spying on the Omega division as to the RC threat. one of our members will create a new character that would infiltrate and examine this problem and report to the FSS any information that could lead to either the destruction or the creation of a peace treaty with this coalition and the Federation.

right now we need to decide how many agents to send and if they will attach themselves to a station or a ship.

You will report to me and I will report to Vorak anything that seems out of the ordinary.

The agents will not discuss the mission with out the use of codes or secret words. And we must not be discovered. This mission is vital to the continuation of Omega station and not to forget, the FSS.

What is the current status of DS12?  Are the Romulans really a threat at this time in the Delta Quadrant?

As for missions, I understand Vontak Nor is being re-taken. (See:  http://www.expansionfleet.com/cgi-bin/sector/forums.cgi?forum=122 )  I have a mole there who has accessed their station's systems and is attempting to learn more about the Cardassians current technology levels.  I don't have the agent's report yet, but I wonder if the currently assigned ship, the Skytoucher, might not require Blackfire's assistance in the near future?

Investigate a possible hidden terrorist base near StarPhoenix base.

The terrorists would be made of people who feel the Federation doesn't belongs in the Delta Quadrant.

This division needs new missions and quite desperately. Alot of our members have stopped posting and I am afraid that if we don't do something soon we won't have a division to call home.

So, first off we need a new mission for the Blackfire and also a different angle for the Black Ops crew. And if we can fitit in we could try to find mission ideas for the station crew.

Any and all ideas will be accepted and decided upon.
