Class History:

The Gamma Class starship is the newest class of starship in the federation. This class of starship incorporates different types of class with the latest technology of the federation. Some classes that have been incorporated are the Galaxy Class, Sovereign Class, Defiant Class, and Intrepid Class. This new breed of ship also adds the technology from Katorlian Empire as well. Technology from the Katorlian are a new Pulse Cannon, Transwarp engines, an Advance AI system, and some new Advance Interceptor. This class of starship is currently Classified to only Vice Admirals and above since of the technology and the Katorlian Cloaking Device.

   During development, they're where problems of what should be added and where to build the ships. During the war against the Katorlian Government by Rebels lead by Supreme Commander Salvik, the first ship to carry this name was the USS Delphia A. The NX class also carried a different name. More of this class will be declassified in the next few years.


With the status as a hybred warship/exploration/research ship, it can enter into any kind of space so far with out being detected by standard means of detecting cloaking devices. A deflaut in the weapons system and core mainframe has been modified since launch but it still takes up to 1 minute to re charge the phaser banks.

With this technology and the hidden powers of the Gamma Class starships, it is a fighting match for any ship except the Excalibur Mark 2 and 3 classes in battle. A new Gravitic drive has been added to the ships impluse drive to create a rift in space when trying to escape if need be or added more speeds to the impulse speeds. The Gravitic generators have not been tested at all and all subject to it is Classified under the highest levels.

More Information will be added after the first shakedown. Also, this ships was made do with cooperation between the Admirals and General Mike Ledwith of this site.

Reading from the USS Lothlorien scans of the USS Delphia A, also the first of the Gamma class ships, showed a high level in power when they left the system of Dantro. Most information is still unknow at this current time.
