Captain, we have received an unidentified distress call from a ship in the Quantum net. This is an uncharted and very dangerous area of space, and singularities have been known to appear with no prior warning. But it is a Priority One distress call and we are obligated to offer assistance. Captain, I'm sure I dont have to tell you to be careful, but you have a capable crew, and I have every confidence in their, and your, abilities. Ambasador Arlweyn will be accompanying you to help in any first contact situations that may arise. I will leave it up to you to inform the crew as you see fit. The Tiberon will leave first thing in the morning.
