Gary Fisher

"Very good, We could use all the help with getting crew to build the ship. We don't have the engineering team we did when the Excalibur was built. Anyone interested in the project and being a part is welcome to volunteer. The more we have the sooner we can commission the ship. It will be a long process we still need to test some technologies."

"Hopefully the conference can allow you some time to unwind then, it should be an interesting period of time for all of the guests here, much to see and to work on. Admiral Fisher has hopes, which I support, of putting restrictions on starship construction after the Interceptor is complete. Disallowing any larger ships to be built".

Richard Ransom

"Well perhaps if the technology fails an extra two or three inchs of albative armor will just have to do to compensate for the loss. How many officer will it take, minimum, to crew this space station like ship?"

"Oh its a shame, the Titan class is a remarkable ship. Perhaps after the conferance we could arrange a meeting and I can inform you on the class. You would find great intrest in it. I am not sure if you would reconize the name but a Captain William T. Riker, formally Commander Riker executive officer of StarFleets flag ship Enterprise, had the honor to command the very first Titan class. The unit run Uss Titan. I had receive an invetation to be presant at the commissioning cermony around the time when the Ferangi raided Freedom Station. So unfortunatly I wasnt able to go. But back to the conferance. The Interceptor classes interior. What sort of facilities does hse have?"

"Indeed i kept the engines running good. We had good times. What was her last mission, i can't recall it but purphaps others might. I think i'll have a fine crew for the Interceptor. I already have a Dr. and another officer Steven Cruse, he's been around for some time."

Gary Fisher

Fisher walks into the promenade a padd with him. He walks up to Admiral Hobson and Bailey.

"Admiral Hobson, i have my speech of sorts. I wrote it on the ride back to DS 20. I left Matthews to duty. Hopfully some from Avalon will visit later. But i did not sense much enthusiasm from the people i met. I didn't meet other high command officers although i know you and Admiral Madison are. With your final signatures i will announce the new Starfleet Engineering regulation. Which is in my speech."

He hands to padd to Hobson

Hobson continued to observe Bailey while they discussed the situation.
"I am sure you have seen things, Mr. Bailey".
He waived his hand in the air and changed his tone.
"However. No argument over agreement will take place during this conference. This discussion as a debate has already gone quite far enough, we are well understood on that ground, I assume".

He gave a short sigh and looked directly to Bailey.
"Your language, Admiral Bailey, is not pardoned. Perhaps I did not make it clear enough, gentlemen. The debate, argument, what have you, ends now. This conference is not a discussion of sorts, your postion is clear Mr. Bailey, and it is noted, I assure you".
