Mission 3: Neyo Prime

After a few seconds the deflector charges and is ready to fire.

"Firing athe the Neyots ship sir."

A deep red beam shots out from the deflector and strikes Neyots ship.  Going right through the ships shields and slicing up the outer hull.

"Direct hit.  Neyots vessel has been severly damaged.  Multiple hull breaches, shields and weapons offline, his life support is failing."

suddenly Jones voice comes on over to com

=A= Sir I got all I can into the sheilds and deflector dish, the dish should now take thrity seconds less time to charge and shields are now up to sixty five percent, of course no one can use the holodecks nor sonic showers for the moment. basicly I have all the energy rerouted into shields and the Deflector Dish, so that's all she's got, and she's as light up as a Chrismas Tree =A=

Would everyone please just settle down I believe if we were in danger we would be in a worse condition than we are. Most of those ships have now been hit at least once. Some are a best just floating in space with nothing although that might have been a rouse but. The lead ship was the first one fried with one shot I believe you all don't know the ship as well as you think you do. We will stay in this fight and fight it till the end.

Perhaps Commander Cook this nebula is the remnets of a planetary system?

Also Captain bouy data is coming back.  It appears that an unknown ship is sitting on the outskirts of the nebula.  I am unable to scan its tactical systems.

Cook upon hearing this almost lets go of the leash, but regains his grip on the leash, much to the disapointment of Captain Smith who let out a iritated yowl as not being able to explore, the leash then goes taunt as Captain Smith begins to sniff one of the men next to Ne'Ru 35

Cook opens his mouth but closes it without saying anything waiting for the captain to speak so as to know what would be appropiate to say.

Well if you are so bent on turning the Deflector into something not even meant to be, I better watch you so you would not touch anything not related, she can be touchy on what is done to here, so I guess i agree with the captain, but make a note, i only do it so that i may be able to save the gale, she is still wet behind the ears, and still has a lot to see.

Jones shakes his head and turns to Cook

Well Weasly you where right, they do grow on you, of course you know more about her, you helped build her.

Jones crakes a smile at that comment

Captain Smith upon seeing the men beam in begins to Hiss at the nearest Soldier to Cook, bearing his fangs and pulling his whiskers back trying to look meanaching

Cook risks something and picks up Captain Smith and begins to stroke his his head while trying to calm him down

Smith stops hissing, but he is still ready to spring at anything and is watching the Soldier with peirching blue eyes and bared fangs still in the warning mode

OCC: Cats can tell what peoples motives are so i would think this would be something a Cat would do if he/she was threatened or felt threatened.

*Returns to the ship in the shuttle piloting it into the shuttlebay*
*Soon rejoins the officers*
"I know you were expected a detailed briefing, but I am afraid that cannot be done in good enough time. You know the main points of my time spent here. I came here on shore leave to explore for enjoyment, there is no more to question concerning that. I suggest we help the Neyoean people install the weapon and go after thier enemy"

Let's just hope that Starfleet looks at all this with a kind and understanding heart, otherwise we will be faceing some heavy time.

Cook looks at his counsle and turns right away back to Captain Moriarty

Sir they have launched counter weapons at us.

the bridge shutters greatly at the hit.

Sir shields just went down to seventy percent, but holding

"Commander, the other two ships are moving in on us and targeting the deflector.

The ships fire in sequence and the exaliburs ventral side.  

Shields are at 52% and droping fast.  Deflectors charging and will take another 30 seconds to complete."

"Commander, recommend we shift all phaser power to the shield grid sir."

Cook turns to face Mr. Torean.

Also Na' Ru 35 said that they made that glass power tube in this nebula, I doubt that they would have things small enough for a shuttle craft, but i could be wrong, of course this first contact is a little bit onorthidox to say it lightly.

Cook then turns to Titan

Keep a good eye on that nebula, also it is very strange that a nebula be made up of elements found in planets, this seem a little odd to me.
