Mission 1: Into The Shadows

[Gary Fisher]

Admiral Fisher comes to the main hanger where the shell like hull is being build. The hull is thicker than the normal hull to withstand the speeds it will be going.

Fisher opens a channel to the entire base.

"This is Admiral Fisher, all officers who will be working with the USS Interceptor report to its hanger at once. Fisher out"

[Revan Young]

"Hmmm, I will talk to an associate of mine, he may be interested."

[Gary Fisher]

Fisher walks from an access area on the ships hull.

"Most of the long saucer section of the ship is not built. It just lacks the systems and things not built in. Just empty spaces basicly. The challenge will be the 2 main body parts where the double deflector dishes are its very complicated with the new science systems."

[Ian Graham]

Ian's eyebrows rose with wonder.

"Er.. aye.. aye sir!  Thank you sir!  I will sir!"

The cadet opens the box and a smile forms at his face.

"I will make sure I hold my position to it's up-most potential, sir."

Operations Ready Sir all Main Drive systems are on-line

Before the XO takes her leave of the bridge, her comm badge comes to life.

Ma'am, this is Lt. Graham, I am on Deck 6 just checking on a few things and running some diagnostics.  Wanted to make sure everything was in tip-top shape for our trip.  Shall I report to the bridge?

[TomNasmith]

*Enters*
"Reporting Admiral. I have a good deal of experience as former Chief Engineer of the U.S.S. Lothlorien. Untill my duty begins on the Venture I am eager to be a part of this project"

They enter the turbolift.
"It has a Captain, Captain Brodie. He served on the USS Aztec at the very beginning of the fleet. However, we do not have an XO for the ship. Something we are quickly attempting to fill".

"A challenge then for you! I had figured it would be difficult to join the double lower sections together. But I am sure you can do it. I have assigned Cadet Myers, Crewman Tyqel, and Lt. Commander McCoy to work on Sickbay, you might want to catch up with them".

He nodded and took another box from the table, handing it to Kellanis.
"Lieutenant Commander Jasmine Kellanis, I hereby promote you to the rank of Commander, and the official postion of Executive Officer of the USS Interceptor. Congratulations on your promotions, both of you".

[Leonard McCoy III]

*Takes place at the science station on the bridge*
"All sensors and deflector systems are functional, go for my station"

[Jasmine Kellanis]

"hmmm, No, no need, i am sure you are fully capable, i will return to my quarters, i need to start my log and finish up other things, then i think i will take a look around this ship...i should be back in 4 hours."

Hobson enters with two Admirals following.
"The Interior of the ship has much work to be done, in all departments. But as you can see, the hull only has a touch left, gravity, lighting, and life support are installed and working. With any officers from your own divisions that are sent in, this ships inside should be a buzzing beehive of work to complete the ship in good time".

*Chuckles*

"Actually, it is not a 'he', it is a she, and she is my wife, she is actually here with me, but elsewhere."

Brodie walks into the construction area walking to Hobson, Young, Fisher, and a stranger ne knew to be his XO.

"Hello, I'm your CO Captain Marcus Brodie. Its good to have an XO finally. What ships have you served on Commander?"
