Sisko: Sir, once we get out of this giant from decompressing we must return to avalon.  This ship is in need of a full re-fit.  The whole damned thing needs to be worked on.  The core is gone, were venting plasma from the nacelles to prevent any further incidents, and the matter ani-matter injectors are offline, and will be jettisoned as well to prevent any more disasters.  With your permission I am going to transfer to the Grace and begin picking up rescue pods and then help tow you home.

Sir we can take four to five hits at the most right now, and then all of our systems will be down.  I hate to run away like a coward, but I truly think we should head for the fleet.  Then we run a chance of staying alive.

=A=Admiral, This is sisko.  We know now why we have had a cascade failure.  There is a virus in the main computer core that is continously mutating itself.  Every time we try to get rid of it, it mutates and the treatment for it stops working.  As soon as we can get this virus off of here we will be able to start restoring station operations.  It looks like this was sabotage.  This virus was intentionall put into teh main computer core.

fine it needs an Exective Officer you are here by Promoted to Commander with all the right that go along with that rank and and to the Harbour Grace Captian Sisko is in commander over there.

Sisko:Cmdr, (who is acting chief engineer right now), begin preperations to jump start the secondary warp core and its auxillary power systems.  Meanwhile replace the dilithium in the intermix chamber, and re-align the dilithium matrix for a cold start on the warp core.  
Lt., were going to bypass the main power relays and odn conduits.  The wonderful thing about these bio-nueral gel packs is that they act as a secondary power transfer system when the main system goes offline.  

LT., figure out why the power systems and nothing else was affected during the scan, and get engineering teams all over the ship to start replicating and replacing odn relays and power transfer conduits.  

Listen up people, were basically going to wire the ship up like a christams tree to get us back under way.  When we get home we'll fix the problems.  Our main priority is to get main power back online however thats possible.  Lets get to work.
