"Sir, I reported to the admirals welcome desk like my email said and was told to report to you. I Thank you Sir for pointing out my mistake and I shall report for training immediately, Thank you Sir." with that the huge Klingon Salutes and marches out the door.

"Yes sir." John Salutes and exits the generals office heading off to find Patric and Richerds.

"As much as I would like to see that and say yes... no. Contact me immediately and inform me of anyone that looks suspicious or anyone who is trying to gain access into those now restricted areas."

*...Mike opened his desk drawer and took something out and concealed it with his hands and put it behind his back. He then got up and started pacing...*

"Captain, you have been proving your self a very valuable officer to this corp. Day by day you only improve the way you command and lead your men. You have proven your self time and again in many battles and many challenging task that most officers would have broke under the stress. As you know our great Maj... I mean Lt. Colonel Keller has been fatally wounded and is now in stasis until we can heal his injuries and that means the Battalion is short one executive officer. and i see no better man but you to take up Nates position and lead the battalion."

*...He walks up to Richerds and removes the pips on his collar...*

"But I cannot see you wearing those bars ... these would suit you much better."

*... he reveals a small case and opens it up. It contained two golden oak leaves. He pinned them on Richerds collar and took a step back...*

"Do me proud, son."

*...Powell raises his right arm up to a salute...*

*...Powell looks up from his PADD in hand and then he takes the one being handed to him...*

"Thank you Corporal. Make sure the ship is indeed secured and make sure no one gets in. Also send word to Captain Richerds and Lieutenant Patric to come see me in my office. I need to speak to them."

[Jason Patric]

<Looks saddened as he smirked and smiled back at the General>

"Aww nuts, ok.  No shooting anyone, Got it." Jason salutes and leaves the office tapping his combadge for his platoon to join him at the docking bay.

[William Richerd]

Major William Richerd Saluted back at General Powell. "I will not let you down, sir." His first impression was shock and awe at the promotion, but then pride and honor for being chosen to help lead the battalion... he also felt sadness that Starfleet medical couldn't heal Nates wounds... he mentally wished for better circumstances, but life is not always kind or fair to those in the universe. He kept a stoic look during his inner mix of emotions but he was able to get everything under control. "I will now make sure that the brig is secured and under lock down protocol Sir."

((Uh... OOC moment, but... I cannot find the brig... I looked in all the places I thought it would be... should I start a brig topic?))

A 7'3 Klingon enters the room, comes to attention and says "Sir, Pardon the interuption. My names Kang Du'Kot and I was told to report here by the admirals office, however Sir, they just gave me the base location and your name, so here I am Sir, reporting in.
