Sub-Minor Docking Bay

[James Madison]

Madison hands a padd to each officer.

"Thank you all for aiding me in the renovations to this ship. My goal is to keep as many originial parts as possible. This means taking each section out, and fine cleaning and repairing it then putting it back in. Commander Cook, i think your part in the Science Department can focus on the computer systems. We will be working from Engineering out until we get the entire ship done. This may take many many months (real time) to do. It depends on how many cadets or new officers i can get."

[Weasly Cook]

Cook nodded, "So.. when do we start? Do we get to get inside her tonight? Or do we get all planned out tonight and then in the morning get going?

[Weasly Cook]

Cook smiled and shook his head, "To use an old earth term, I don't know, I only work here." He laughed and smiled, "I wish I knew... but the last mission is classified, I don't even know what happened.... if I did... well... maybe I won't be standing here talking to you... Talk to one of the other Admirals, I think Garhett, maybe he might know something." Cook then cleared his throat, "We have started in engineering, and we plan on branching out from their, so we should begin from their and work our way from there." He then smiled agian, "It's good to see you agian... Rear Admiral Starwind." He felt that unless told otherwise he would use titles and last names.

The three officers entered the bay where the U.S.S. Windsor sat derelict.
"We should first assess the damage on the outside, but there is little doubt in my mind that this ship will need a complete warp core and engineering replacement. We will see more when we do the scans".

"Its good to have you join us Commander. You know the picture, your experience with the Excalibur Project makes certain you be involved in this work. It will be childs play compared to what we've seen, but of course not a lightly taken project".
He brought up a diagram of the ship and set it to section off.
"We have the major department sections and decks, main engineering, auxilary engineering. The medical deck, science and research. Operation departments and weapons arrays from the inside out. Nothing gets ignored, everything gets new equipment. Commander Cook, your expertise will be needed with the Medical and Science departments. As well as research development for state of the art engineering devices. We will need more people on this of course. It was suggested we contact the academy for intern requests, we also want to catch anyone off of ships when they dock here who might have something to contribute. Everyone on this station has a place on this. Lieutenant Starchaser in sickbay can work with Commander Cook. I would even like to see if Mr. Torean can take time to lend his knowledge".

"Things such as panels and montitors will remain the same. Obviously major systems that could have been damaged and are obsolete will be changed. I am ordering the fastest Warp Core i can. I must say if we had a facility like DS 20 we could slash the time in half. But we have enough to get it done."

"Their won't be room for slacking though. We all need to be productive in some way. I myself will be working on repairing Main Engineering. We need to clear it of its old systems and make room for the new."

[Weasly Cook]

"You remember." Cook said with a laugh and a smile, "Well, he hasn't escaped into any jeffries tubes as of late... we served on the Nova Station right?" Cook was at the moment has a slight lasps of memory, that happens to the best of men, "Yes it has been a long time... I finally finished my second Titanic model, the first one was destroyed, only thing lost in my Qurters durring that battle... can't remember who it was agianst though." He stopped realizing he was rambling, he blinked and smiled, "It's good to see you, so.... when do we get to work?"

[Dean Starwind]

*Dean looks to Weasly with a look of disbeleif.*

"Borg?! I was not told this ship was attacked by Borg!"

*Dean then begins to search his PADD for information then looks to Weasly*

"What the hell happend to her?!"

[Avery Taylor]

Avery looked at the new scaner and shook his head.  The Engine  needed repair.   "I'll be damned.  This scaner been giving me a fit for nearly six
weeks now.

he shrugged.  "Sometimes all it takes is another set of eyes." said Tom

Avery looked at the Scaner again.  "You know," he said slowly.  "Now that
that Engine can be cleared, with little help I could have this thing
ready to go without a prototype a lot sooner.

Avery looks over at the Admiral, your right sir. Maybe if we split ship into team. It would get done right.

"I think this is the start commander. We will probally be this low number at first, but it should get more busy as time goes along. I think there might be more replacement works than cleaning things up as Admiral Madison described. At least the power sources will need replacement, as well as the computers".

"That sounds good. Tasks should be delegated for that section then. As well as listing of what needs to be done".

"Computer, seal the bay doors and provide an airlock".
The computer acknowledged, and the shuttlebay doors of the Windsor opened.
"We can either travel to and fro by shuttle or transporter. The external work all can be done by shuttle. I will go aboard now if you all would like to come, we may begin now".
He smiled, glad to begin, and headed to the small transporter pad in the room for the ship.

[Dean Starwind]

*Dean beams over to the ship. As soon as he materializes he starts to pick and fidget with his knew uniform. A crewmen tells him that the Admirals had just left and dean hurries to catch up.*

"Admiral Madison!"

*Dean gave a shout to catch his attention to allow him to catch up with the group.*

[James Madison]

He gives Starwind a pat on the shoulder.

"Well it looks like you'll be worked in here. You have Commander Tom Nasmith in the Engineering crew. I've enlisted help from other crew Members. Commander Cook here being one. I'll let you go to it then. And don't forget my offer, drinks in the pub."

He exits Engineering heading for OPS
