"Damn it, 4 pelicans arent enough to transport the troops.  Best work with what we can.  How many fighters did we get out ?"

"Sir's the EMP Cannon is charged and ready, awaiting your orders"

[Balkazar]

<Balkazar was kneeling by the waters edge drinking some of the water that was scanned to be clean, he stands up just when Ressik comes into view>

"Ressik, its about time you got here.  Report."

[Vil'iata Najadum]

That was about the time Vil'iata returned from her scouting mission having decided she'd been out a sufficient amount of time. She'd no idea she'd been gone far longer than Balkazar had intended as the young Sylesi was completely unfamiliar with Federation time keeping methods.

She broke the surface abruptly, right near the waters edge and quickly scanned the area for Balkazar. Not seeing him immediately she slid partially onto land and raised herself up on her tail to better see. Finding him eventually, "Balkazar, river scout reporting in!" With that she lowered herself back down to her normal height and waited for him to come over.

Ressik spots a white flag comming from the command tent.

We have a white flag move in with caution, and watch your fire.

Ressik begins to move forward with other members of the unit.  'This is about when the die hard loyalist comes out guns blazing.' Ressik thinks to himself.

"DON'T LET YOUR GUARD DOWN!" Ressik calls out to everyone.

"We only left 3 aboard"

[Clyde Eastwood]

"Roger that sir and when you make your way out we will cover your exit, and then maybe we can leap frog our way out with support from bravo company to cover our retreat"

*Eastwood watched as a few of the young ones wanted to get trigger happy, but he jumped in and yelled* "FRIENDLIES"

"about time you got here Ressik, what have you been doing building yourself a deathstar or something"

[Balkazar]

<Walking over to the water's edge>

"Report in, Vil'iata."

[Balkazar]

"LAST CHANCE TO LOWER YOUR WEAPONS AND SURRENDER!" Balkazar called out.

[Balkazar]

"All I needed to know.  Get some sleep we land soon."

<Balkazar to Captain>

"Captain, Maximum warp, push it."

*Balkazar went to his quarters as the Ship excellerated to in speed to warp 9.999.  Balkazar put on his helmet and activated the communications link to the ULA troops and ships*

<Balkazar to ULA ships>

"This is lt. Col. Balkazar, we will be near Jarkan in less then 5 hours.  When we arrive I need you to provide cover fire.  Have your agents in the fortress to blind there sensors long enough for the Saba to drop us off and our gear and vehicles.  Have your troops in the power station to stand by to blow them on my signal."

ULA Captain: "Understood Col. Again thank you for your assistence and Ramstein's family is at your base as we speak."

Balkazar: "Im going to get some sleep, remain cloaked till we arrive.  Gnight."

ULA Captain: "ULA forces out."

*Balkazar then fell asleep for 4 hours when Ressik came in and woke him up*

"Ressik, double check to make sure the pelicans and the fighters can be dropped off ASAP, whatever cant be dropped off will be transported down.  We will have atleast a 10 minute period or more till they get there sensors back up and running again."

*An hour passed till the Saba dropped out of warp and the ULA ships destroyed the Jarkan ship*

=^= "The walls are a meter thick on for a small patch on the North Eastern side, in all other places they are at least 10.  The charges should do the job on the area 1m thick, but whatever they used to build this place is strong, there is no show in the other places." =^=

[Balkazar]

"You have a right to know.  Im half betazoid.  Starfleet doesnt know that.  My father was human and my mother was betazoid.  I decided to join starfleet and follow in my fathers footstep's, my mother on the other hand is still living on Betazed.  My father died in the war against the borg."

<They continued to march along>

"Vil'iata told me in a mind mergence of sorts who she was and what happened to her and why she crashed.  Once we are done here, ill escort her to Avalon station.  Now you know, Starfleet doesnt know im a telepath, I wish to live my life as a human without having everyone know im half-betazoid."

<Waits for a response>

[Vil'iata Najadum]

Vil'iata was much relieved to find out she was not a hinderance to them. She was very pleased to learn she might be able to swim and as soon as Balkazar gave the ok she slide quickly down to the rivers edge and plunged in

Sylesi are very good swimmers dispite their lack of leggs and can remain underwater for quite some time without needing to breath due to their uniquely designed triple lung biology.

Vil'iata remained under the water for several minutes before finally coming up. Smiling at Balkazar, "This is wonderful! It will be much more comfortable to swim the rest of the way."

Very pleased to be in the water she dived under and swam along the bottom for awhile with smooth undulating motions before surfacing again out in the middle of the river. Water streamed off her scales making them shimmer and showing off the metallic highlights of both her rainbow hued scales and bright blue hair.

She slide smoothly along the surface till she was closer to shore and waited for the signal that the group was ready to move out.

"There is a group of 20 camped out by the river not far ahead. I wasn't able to determine whether they are waiting for you or just doing routine exercises, but they are in your direct path."
