Jarkenan Assualt

[Balkazar]

*The marines were marching along for the next 4 hours when they needed to stop because some of the raw recruits who recently joined them started to stumble as if they were dehydrated.  They stopped at along the river to rest, while in the far distance they could see the fortress they have to assault*

Captain Richerd blinked and froze at seeing the new alien. He slowly whispered out of his mouth... he was unsure if this was a new friend... or a foe, and as such he was ready just in case. "Uh... sir... Something is behind you... It appears friendly but I am not totally sure about it."

Richered was trying not to starle the creature nor create any more problems.

[Balkazar]

<Balkazar had shot a glare to the marines as they fell silent>

"You best stick with rank or else you will be in the brig till further notice.  NOW!, anyone with half a mind would know what you just told me.  Anyone who has access to those files would know as well.  Tell me something I dont know." Balkazar said glaring at Brown.

OOC**Dont call me Balki I find it irritating.

[Balkazar]

"You said this place was in mountainous terrain, we could have brought the puma's!"

[Balkazar]

"No best not do any AA weapons, we must keep our location a secret if we down any more of there ships they will come looking for those ships we shot down and they may come and find us by accident.  Sleep here tonight set our sentries and get some sleep."

"50 Battle Droids, but with the EMP, none will be functionable."

[Vil'iata Najadum]

*Reaching the planet Vil'iata directed the skimmer to begin a swift descent through the upper atmosphere.*

*The small and highly manuverable craft was soon beneath the cloud cover and heading towards the nearest source of fresh water.*

Sgt Ressik keeps an eye on the troops exiting the fortress, he then peers into the canyon.

"Looks like we won't be being bother by them for a while." He said turning to the Captain.

[Balkazar]

<Balkazar projected forward his thoughts towards Vil'iata>

"You were shot down by a radical military on this planet.  We were sent here to search and rescue for a very dangerous prof. im guessing when you were shot down you unknowingly sent a emotional pulse using telepathy.  Fortunately, I sensed it and found you.  We had to destroy your ship it was beyond repair sense it exploded after we retrieved you out of your ship.  We used our own explosives and destroyed it so the military on this planet found nothing to use to there own advantage."

"But dont worry your safe.  Im Balkazar and im in charge of these marines.  We are a military branch of starfleet.  I would appreciate it if you didnt tell anyone that im a telepath.  I rather have an ace up my sleeve.  Not even my superiors know im half-betazoid."

"But onto business.  We cant exactly give you a ship to return home but I cant exactly turn back on my current mission.  So if you want we can get you fixed up the best we can and you can come with us.  When this mission is done, Ill personally escort you to my superiors and ensure your safety.  You have nothing to fear from these men.  There the best under my command and they will ensure no harm comes to you."

"Would you like any water or food perhaps?.  More to the question will you allow my medics look at you to try and figure out how to best fix you sense you obviously dont have an recognizable anatomy sense we never came across your kind before."

*Unknown to the marines it looked like the creature was talking to Balkazar threw some sort of telepathy*

<Still maintaining the telepathy link, Balkazar made a few hand gestures which meant to get the medics and set up a tight parameter>

"No, best not involve everyone.  Dont mind my Captain, hes only doing his job of being protective of his Commanding officer.  Tell me, can you slither? <Smiles>, or walk?"

<Balkazar outside of the mergence motioned for water and medics to tend to Vil'iata>

"As I said before we dont have the time to take you back to our base till this mission is done.  So you can try and help.  I dont think you would harm us, only thing you have done so far was harm some of my men out of fear and shock.  Im being told that theres more enemies coming towards us, so we must be moving out as soon as your able."

[Clyde Eastwood]

"yes sir i know that but i have waited 15 long years to get back at them but i guess i can wait another 15, and thank you sir i never knew you had a soft side to you, we are going to name her after my father or mother depending on weather it is a boy or girl, and sir one more thing, would you be my best man for our wedding"

[Vil'iata Najadum]

Vil'iata nodded and slide gracefully under the water. Once fully submerged she swam swiftly down the river.

She wasn't entirely sure how long 30 of their minutes were but she figured she'd scout for a sufficiently long period of time and then report back.

[Balkazar]

"Keep your weapon holstered, Captain.  Her name is Vil'iata.  We found her on our trek here, her ship was shot down by these bastards." he said responding to Richerd.

<Turning to Vil'iata, then stared at her as unknowingly to everyone else they both entered a mind mergence>

"Well Vil'iata, now to deal with you.  We dont know where your planet is.  Not to mention we may be unable to take you back there sense I need to look out for my men first.  So by Federation law, I must take you back to my superiors and they will deal with any negotiations between your people and the Federation.  Also please dont worry about you being a hinderance.  Actually it was quite challenging.  Besides marines are trained deal with any situations thrown our way.  EVEN! if it means strange aliens thrown in our path, marines are bound by the same laws as any other civilized species.  We protect, guard, defend.  Thats what we do and we will do it till we exist no more.  Thats our aspect of life.  Starfleet is something else.  They explore the stars while we explore the ground and ship to ship assaults." Balkazar thought with immense pride and dignity.

*The mind mergence broke as 4 marines bring in a man that was clothed in an old style marine uniform that is about 8 months old*

"WHO ARE YOU!" Balkazar yelled at the unconscious man.
