Jarkenan Assualt

[Jacob Ressik]

Major Vei'verk thought about it and answered.
"Ahh sir' i'm Major Vei'verk, I Was 2IC before you guys landed.  There is a small path 50m up that should take us around the camp"

Ressik was trying to remeber info from the intell reports.  "Sir" he says refering to Balkazar "Reports suggest that their may have been Officer Training exercise happening in the area, it seems we may have run into one."

[Balkazar]

*After Ressik left with his men, Balkazar ordered his men to cover the other 3 ways and fan out.  He had also ordered his men to take up sniper positions around the camp and hold there fire until fired uponed*

"Vil'iata I want you to swim back up the river and watch and see if they had sent for reinforcements or saw our forces.  Go."

*Then Balkazar hurried to catch up with his men*

<Balkazar to Ressik>

"We are in position too, im going to get there attention."

<Balkazar calls down to the small camp>

"You have 21 minute to throw down your weapons and surrender or suffer the consquences for siding with the  Jarkenan forces." Balkazar had demanded.

((Oh man.... I didn't get any fun... oh well, better luck next time.))
A captain of another company, Bravo walked up to Balkazar. "Capt. Richerd reporting in, it was nasty but we were able to give you the needed air cover, we lost two fighters, but I think they suffered heavier losses." Richered looked pleased to be back in the action as well as wearing the uniform of a Marine.

[Jacob Ressik]

"Understood.  Planet side, no nothing new has come up." Ressik reaches into his pocket and give's somthing to Balkazar "Plug this into your commlink, you will be able to contact all ULA ships, otherwise, thats it."

[Jacob Ressik]

"Here's the satalliate pictures.  As you can see not much there, we have an emergancy pick up point there if this all goes south".
"Now we need to get anti air weapons deplyed, in case the come looking for the ship we downed".

[Balkazar]

"Hmmmm, no.  They will see the pelican flying, I dont want them to know we have air.  Go in by foot and disrupt there patrols.  The main body will stay here, when we assault the fortress we will show them the lil surprise of the pelicans.  Go and get some rest or move out.  Understand?"

"Are you saying they have droids ? and you failed to mention this ?"

[Balkazar]

*Balkazar and his men were marching along till he dropped to the mud covered ground with both hands clutching his head, Balkazar screamed out in pain.  A few seconds passed until he was better, then saw a small skimmer like vessel zoom over head and crashed in a ball of fire*

"Lt. whoever is on that vessel needs our help.  Ill be fine but lets hurry up.  I have a feeling whatever caused me such pain is aboard that vessel."

"Alpha and Charlie companies, FAST MARCH! MOVE!"

*Still burdened by the weight of there gear they rushed along at a force march state as they headed towards the crashed vessel.  Balkazar was begining to sense something or someone was unconscious and is in pain.  The marines hurried at a faster pace, as Balkazar rushed headlong.  Soon they saw the crashed vessel and a long skidded mark on the ground as the ship dug deeper and deeper into the earth as it fell*

"6 fire teams, 3 left flank, 3 right flank.  Charlie company secure the parameter.  Alpha company send the fire teams.  Surround the crashed vessel and set your weapons for stun.  We dont need to harm the one whos inside any more then they alredy are."

*The marines did as they were ordered and set there weapons for stun and secured the parameter*

*Balkazar knelt near by guarded by several marines from Alpha company*

[Vil'iata Najadum]

Vil'iata stirred slightly, hissing softly in pain. Suddenly she became aware that she was moving and as her last conscious memory was of crashing she paniced and reacted on instinct.

Wrenching herself into an upright position she lashed out at the two nearest targets (the marines carring the stretcher), hitting one hard in the ribs with her tail and catching the other on the check with her projectile venom. This venom while non-lethal was extremely painful and could cause blindness if it got in one's eyes. She'd actually been aiming for his eyes but the effects of the head would caused her to miss.

The immediate reaction over with she coiled in on herself, fangs bared, hissing in warning. To anyone familiar with Terran creatures she greatly resembled a startled and defensive rattler or viper.

Vil'iata was without knowing it broadcasting fear in almost palpable waves in all directions.

She reached to her side where her translater-voder should have been hanging and found it gone, likely smashed during the crash. This scared her even more because now she realized she would have to hope someone among these strange beings had a receptive mind. While it was true they could speak to any race they much prefered to 'path to those races that were already attuned to pick up telepathic communications.

[Vil'iata Najadum]

"Yes, I am able to move. My tail doesn't seem to have suffered any injury."

And to demonstrate she slid slowly towards Balkazar in a smooth, fluild motion.

[Balkazar]

"Dont worry I only read your mind once, I guess congratulations are in order, Dad, im glad that Elizabeth and yourself are proud parents.  Good to see you found time to do that atleast outside of avenging your families murder.  Remember that revenge wont bring back your family, it will destroy you and who you are in the end."

[Balkazar]

"Hmmmm, we have to take them out.  We dont need them at our backs to attack us from the rear.  We also still have surprise on our side.  Would show of force make them drop there weapons and surrender, Major?"

[William Richerd]

Richerd holsters his weapon and nods his head. "Sorry, I am to look out for my superiors at the moment as well." He then looked at the Marine as well. He was wondering where this man had come from.

He was standing at an ease attention, but was ready to take action if any needed to be taken.

"You been issued heavy combat gear yet?"

"Good.  Hmmmmm, what else is at the ruined town ?, incase we need to fall back to it."
